I watch shark tank and I love grilled cheese and tomato soup so I was excited to try this restraunt. I was so dissatisfied and disapointed. The soup was horrible so I exchanged it for the chili. There were no beans in it and it tasted sour. My sandwich was cold and the cheese was not even melted. This was The worse food that I have ever eaten. To make matters worse I had diarrhea before I even made it home. No wonder the Columbus area chains went out of business. I will tell everyone I know to steer clear of this place!

Love that they have so many gluten free options! Even the tomato soup is GF. Made my tummy so happy!

Staff was extremely nice and helpful with menu! They asked multiple times how our food was and if it was up to par. Food was no more greasy than you would expect from grilled cheese and the soups were perfect temperature and tasty! I definently will return!

YUM! Great grilled cheese! Lots of great options to make it your own. The wheat berry bread is delicious. A nice bowl of chili was the perfect complement. It was seasoned perfectly. Next time I’m going to try it on a doughnut!

I’m going to go ahead and guess that Tom+Chee didn’t get famous because of the sandwich I ate today. Got a grilled cheese– the bread was browned but the cheese wasn’t melted. Amateur mistake. Sandwich was overall greesy. Didn’t live up to the hype.

This place is fun! Kids love the food too. I wish they had background music but otherwise it’s a solid fast casual place for lunch or dinner.

I was excited to try this place after seeing it on Shark Tank. I’ve now been here 2 times since they opened. My opinion is mixed. Food is good but I think it’s a little pricey for what you get. Worth a visit though. Don’t expect the Melt.

This is definitely a cool place to visit. Yes it’s a little bit greasy, but the cheese is piled into the sandwiches so a little grease is to be expected. You have a wide variety of combinations to choose from including cheeses, meats, and vegetables. I was starving and wanted to sample a couple different things, so I got a pepper jack and pepperoni sandwich and a bowl of tomato soup. The soup was very good. They had a taco soup on special that looks good too. For dessert, I had to try the classic grilled cheese doughnut. I know that may not sound very appetizing, I was skeptical, but it was great. Very unique and a must try when you check this place out. I definitely recommend this place.

Great concept! The menu is decent given the focus. The food was hot and tasted great. I do consider it to be expensive given the food items.

First time to Tom Chee, loved it! Got a cheese and soup dipper with the creamy tomato, and was very good. Wish we had these places more often in our travels.

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but I love Mac and cheese, and the thought of it on a sandwich appealed to me greatly as I recently had it on pizza and loved it. But… not great on a sandwich. First, the sandwiches are too greasy for me. Second, you couldn’t taste the Mac and cheese as it wasn’t creamy enough and had no distinct flavor. It was Monday so I got a free bowl of soup with my sandwich order. The basic tomato soup wasn’t good. Too, too thick, and not good flavor. Overall, I was disappointed as I wanted to love this place. My husband did a build your own, with ham and two cheeses. He got the creamy tomato basil soup and liked his a bit more. He agreed with the greasiness of the sandwiches. Prices are decent, and there is a. Ice varied menu, but not likely I will return.

I had the Armagoetta! Fantastic flavors in that sandwich. First time here and I’d definitely come back.

Had lunch here on Saturday. As a parent I’d give them 5 stars: top notch high chairs, changing tables in both the men’s and women’s rooms, and my picky 2 year old liked his kids’ meal so much we got him a second helping of tomato soup. The acoustics also make the restaurant extra loud, which is a good thing when you’re dining with small children. I agree with the consensus about the sandwiches being surprisingly greasy. My build-your-own goat cheese and veggie sandwich really had no business dripping grease, but it did. It tasted good though, and I really liked the +$ 1 option to add unlimited veggie toppings to your sandwich. They had a lot to choose from, even more than were listed on the menu. The small versions of their salads for $ 3.75 looked like a good deal. I got a small side of mac and cheese, which did not seem like a good value for $ 3. It had a lot of black pepper, which I loved, but my husband said he wouldn’t eat more than one bite of it, which is not his typical reaction to mac and cheese. Overall I was pleased with our visit, but I wouldn’t seek it out for a return visit.

I really like the flavors and ideas behind this place, but the grilled cheese are SO greasy :(Upsets my stomach and price is a bit steep. Usually about $ 10 or $ 11 for the«meal» which is a very small dipper of soup, or once a cup of soup, and a very small drink. Not so bad if you’re eating in, but if you get it to go, not so great. Not sure if the meal is supposed to come with a dipper, or an actual cup of soup as it has came a different way each time I’ve ordered it.

M. The concept is good but some improvements are needed first real butter on sandwich rather then soaked in grill oil. The soup was only one step aboved can. I’m coming to the option that eating in might be better.

Stopped here for lunch. Had a build my own and it tasted really good but hard to make a case for the place on account of value. The crisp on the grilled cheese was perfect, but almost $ 7 for a grilled cheese with no sides seems steep. I’ll probably go back on rare occasions but I’m too cheap to make it a regular lunch stop.

I was so excited about this place for months! Gourmet grilled cheese and tomato soup is my favorite. I’m sad to say it was not very good. The flavor was majorly lacking. It was too greasy. Lockview in downtown Akron beats them by a mile in flavor.

My boyfriend and I tried this new location out over the weekend. We were very excited and have been waiting for them to open up. We got there when they first opened up, and they must have just cleaned the floors because I almost bit it walking on the slippery floor. Hopefully next time they might reconsider mopping that close to opening time. I ordered the Garlic Crunchy Chicken and he got the Hot and Spicy with tomato soup dunker. I felt like the flavors and grease was quite overwhelming for one sandwich. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted good, but I don’t think I’m able to handle something as «indulgent» as this sandwich was. I think my body is still recovering from the aftermath lol(sorry TMI)! My boyfriend though enjoyed every last bite of his sandwich and soup and I think he has more of a stomach of steel and he said he would definitely go back. So my advice, if you’re used to eating rich, fried foods often, then this place will be right up your alley. For someone who eats relatively healthy and clean most of the time, I would probably skip it :)

My kids and I ate here for the first time tonight, the sandwiches are good, the bread is not too thick, crispy on the outside and a fair amount of cheese on the inside. The soup on the other hand was not that great. I got the creamy tomato basil and it was sour! Like opening a can of tomatoes and drinking the juice sour… not what I would expect out of a creamy tomato basil. My daughter got the banana Rama and the donut was so greasy it fell apart, my suggestion would be to eat it with a knife and fork. ***update 1÷5÷16 if you are going to eat here, please look at their facebook reviews and how management/owners speak to customers who leave poor reviews. This alone will make me never eat here again, very rude and unprofessional ***

Loved this new restaurant! I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with turkey and pesto. It was amazing! Although it was a little pricy, $ 8.65 for a sandwich, chips and a drink. I would definitely go back. They have some outside seating as well. Nice addition to Green :)
