We just moved down here from New York. We are accustomed to going to the bodegas and typical PuertoRican spots in the area when we had the crave to eat food from«home». Lately I have been craving some Alcapurrias, I was actually told about this restaurant from my doctor who is a New Yorker as well. Well let me tell you. This place is amazing. I felt like I was eating a hot plate of food served from my grandparents in Puerto Rico. The food had that authentic HOME feel and taste to it. The flavors were on point. The alcapurrias were filled, so were the empanadillas, and don’t get me started on the bacalaitos. The fresh juices they offered were also delicious so forget ordering soda with your meal! The pasteles tasted like CHRISTMAS! I say that because Puerto Ricans typically make pasteles at christmas time and eating them here tasted like freshly made pasteles on christams eve! It was like reliving my childhood all over again. We will be coming here over and over. It is worth it and its chhhhhhhheap but I’m from NY so everything out here is cheap.

Started with Parcha fruit drink, was good! Server was very friendly. Ordered appetizers, came out in 10 mins, all fresh and hot-Bacalaitos, Empanadas de Carne, Pasteles, Alcapurria, and Papa Rellena. Mofongo with shrimp was delicious, other entrees were also delicious, good flavor, all came out to table within 15 – 20 mins. Flan for desert was delectable

Good puertor Rican food if you are craving some mofongo yumm. But be ready to wait for it or order by phone like a lot of people do. They do need more employees but it is a very small place.

Meals were delicious. The staff was very friendly. It is probably the most authentic Puerto Rican eatery in the county.

I have gone here several times and I have to say they were excellent. I am a New Yoriquen and have been looking for a Puerto Rican place close to me in Boca. Even though this is about 25 minutes from me its worth the drive. My favorite it the Tri-Fongo and they even make Mabi. Everything was great and their service is even getting better since the last time.

The restaurant itself is very clean and nice the food was very good but being around Puerto Ricans all my life and being raised on Puerto Rican food it was just four-star very good but could be just a teeny bit better. I would still recommend this restaurant for anybody that likes authentic Puerto Rican food

From Indiana on a business trip and had to find some home and authentic Puertorican food. Service was excellent and the place looked clean and well organized. The food was superb and the prices were just and not over priced. Highly recommended and will bookmark this location for future visits to this area.

Had not been in the restaurant for about 4 years. Today they had a special Mofongo with conch salad. It was out of this world. The best genuine and original conch salad outside Puerto Rico! Mofongo was perfect and the«caldo» was nice and flavorful. I will definitely visit more often when I feel like having a genuine puertorican dish.

Family owned and run. Service is slow to get started, but you have the daughter taking orders. It’s that type of local place. The food was good, not great. The Mofongo was served with chicken stock like it is in PR, which was cool. The fryer oil needed to be changed. The old oil certainly took away from the flavor of the Mofongo, Carne Frita, and the Alcapuria. Very reasonably priced, but like I said, good not great.

I’m sorry, but anyone rating this place above 2 stars has no idea what Puerto Rican food should taste like! Rice with gandules, an insult, mofongo a greasy mess, the caldo was water with knorr cubes diluted, pastel a disgusting mushy tamal, the pork dry, flavorless and looked days old! Beans? OMG my dog may cook them better! Out of pineapple juice for piña colada? Perhaps was a blessing for me! Obviously not returning. I’m one to support fellow Ricans buss, but this restaurant needs help! It’s a Shame. If they can’t recall what real Boricua flavors are like, they need to visit El rancho original in Puerto Rico and if that’s too far, drive to la lechonera in Orlando!
