There comes a time in every man’s life when he needs to print something and all cosmic forces are against it. Like Arjuna in the Bhagavad-​Gita, we must fulfill our dharma, our duty, amidst all of life’s challenges. My dharma to print a single page against a deadline for a friend was challenged again and again. The Lake Worth Office Depot was able to meet me on life’s battlefield and guide me to Truth with kindness, generosity, and a rich full-​color print job. If I could give this Office Depot a negative star, I would. Earlier today I ordered some index cards online for my son’s school project. I thought it would be easy to order them and pick up quickly on the way home from work. WRONG! I waited at the wrong place (not sure if that was my fault or Office Depot) for 15+ minutes. The young lady named Elizabeth was working quite hard processing printing orders. Other employees walked by that seemed to do nothing and did not offer her any assistance. When she greeted me after my wait, Elizabeth was very apologetic. She called the front register and located my index cards. I walked over to the register where a young man and young woman were chatting. I asked about the cards. The young woman found them. All the while both employees were chit-​chatting. The young man rang up the order and forgot to give me my change. Then he laid the receipt on the counter and put his hand on the index cards, still talking with the young woman. I picked up the receipt and stood there waiting for my index cards. Finally he realized he was leaning on my cards and asked me if I wanted a bag. I scooped up the cards and said, «I just want to GO.» Leave I did and I won’t be back! I can’t imagine what it will be like if the store gets busy because aside from the few printing orders there didn’t really seem to be any need for myself or other customers to wait for anything! The store was empty!
