The doctors here are very nice. Dr. Scartascini and Dr. Rogers are very knowledgable and pleasant to deal with. The staff on the other hand is pretty sad. They are definitely not the brightest crayons in the box. And the only reason I say this is because I had a few problems with them in the past. I’ve been coming to this office for 12 years and I truly enjoy coming to see the doctors but when their staff call to give you information that can be concerning and say don’t make a follow up, that can make someone feel uncomfortable. Or when they lose power and have you sit in an office for 35 min then say «oh we can’t see you today» that’s messed up. And by the way, the person that calls you about results, Joann, she’s not exactly the friendliest person to deal with, nor does she give you correct information. Sad this is this is where this entire review is coming from… finally had enough of Joann giving me bad information.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Dr. Scartascini is wonderful. I’ll be honest and say that I’ve waited up to 20 minutes to see him, but I stay with him because it’s worth it. He is patient, kind and compassionate. He doesn’t rush me, he talks openly with me and makes me feel comfortable to ask questions.

After a few failed attempts to find a good Obgyn in Greenbelt I caved and selected someone listed on The Washingtonian Best Doctor’s list. I figured it couldn’t hurt, right? The Washingtonian is now going to be my go to for all things medical. This is a jewel for Greenbelt, starting with the call to secure a visit it was quick and efficient because they sent a link so I could provide all the answers to the new client questionnaire before my first visit. It was great because I answered all the questions from the comfort of my own home, taking the time the survey deserved because I wasn’t rushing before an appointment. I arrived for my appointment right on time and barely waited in the immaculate lobby with trendy modern furniture and an endless supply of pregnancy magazines (several copies of each should you need to lift a few for reading later). Quickly I met with the nurse getting my weight, height, etc. and within minutes was waiting for the doctor. The doctor, Dr. Rogers, came within minutes and ladies you’re not going to believe this, stood and talked to me. He didn’t appear rushed, was in a good mood asked me if I had any questions, etc. We did my annual checkup while he jokingly bantered with the nurse about her love of gossip. I definitely have found my new OBGYN and would highly recommend him to you.
