I have done business with Jeff and Nancy White, of White’s Trading & Arms in Greencastle, PA, a few times over the course of about one year. The first two experiences went fine; however, the third experience has been extremely horrible, unprofessional, and downright thievery. My first experience with them was then I needed a FFL dealer at the beginning of 2013 for a couple of guns that I purchased online. Those transactions went smooth. The second time I used them was to sell a couple of sidearms in the spring of 2013. One of those sidearms they purchased for themselves and the other they sold for me on consignment at an upcoming gun show in our hometown. The payment from that consignment sale was prompt and they may have even paid me when I visited their booth at the gun show or they paid me the next day. The third time I used them was to sell on consignment a long gun and about 5 magazines from another gun. This was back in November 2013. I was moving to California(from PA) and due to the gun laws I couldn’t bring some of my guns and magazines into the state. Since I used Jeff and Nancy a couple times before, it seemed appropriate to use them again. But I was very wrong about that. Very limited communication has occurred since we last met, all of which by text messages and a couple of unreturned voicemails. Nancy finally acknowledged that they sold the gun in mid-January but the buyer only made a down payment and that the balance was going to be paid mid-February. I reconnected mid-February and Nancy said she’d mail me the money. Nothing was received in the mail so I reach back out a couple weeks later. Nancy then acknowledges that she will be mailing the check soon. I wait a couple of weeks and still nothing is received and then I reach back out. Same story, Nancy acknowledges and says something will be sent soon. This plot has played itself out in February, March, April, May, June, July, and August. It’s now September and they’ve just ignored my last text messages. They have expressed to me some personal struggles going on in their family in our text message exchanges, which I am understanding and sympathetic of, but not paying me after 8 months from the time that the items have sold is ridiculous. Because of my kind heart, I was holding back on writing reviews hoping that this would be resolved, but unfortunately it has not.
