The GVL lodge is reputed to be the best in the area. We ate here a couple times and enjoyed the bar too. Food was very good, small salad bar and good portions. The menu is surprisingly diverse for such a small dining room. Steak, seafood, prime rib, pasta, chicken, pork chops. Mostly a middle aged crowd and very vanilla. The food isn’t spicy, but the beer is good and cold. They have a nice swimming pool. I may have to re-up.
