Applebee’s

Service was good. Food was average.
We wanted to go out to eat so we figured we would try Applebees. We haven’t had it in a long time and we wanted to see what had changed. It seemed like the menu was way different before.
It was my wife and son with me this time. My wife and I split the 2 for 20 meal she got a quesadilla burger and I got riblets. My son got the easy mac with mozzarella sticks.
The service we had was excellent. Always refilling drinks and making sure we had everything. But the food tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave over and over. The riblets tasted like they had been warned my someone sitting on them. The taste was something I would expect from a TV dinner not Applebees.
My wife said the same thing about her meal. Nothing special just kinda blah.
My sons meal was Mac and cheese. And it was nothing special just Kraft easy mac you can make at home. So our Applebees experience was much like being at home but with good service.

Great table service and very friendly. The manager came around to each table to make sure everything was going well. She even took time to engage in a conversation with us. Even though the restaurant was busy the food came out right away. I highly recommend you stopping here.

This used to be a place the family and I looked forward to going to. When we first moved to Greenfield, it was a safe bet that we would get a good meal for a decent price. Ever since they changed the menu, prices have gone way up, and food quality has gone south. Don’t waste your time and money. Go somewhere else!

Someone got butt-​hurt last time I posted about this place. It got removed, so I figured I’d try it again. Let’s just say that it’s a god thing that «someone» doesn’t work there as a bartender anymore. I don’t particularly like being poisoned when I drink my beer. Anyway, since then, it’s okay. Your typical Applebee’s I guess.

Food typical so not bad, but it was freezing in the restaurant which made it pretty miserable. I’ve heard they sometimes do this with chain restaurants so that you’ll be cold and therefore eat fast and leave, hence turning the table quickly. Other people were also complaining at tables near us. We said something to the hostess and her response was that she was hot. Having been a server for years, I understand that you get hot running around, but am well aware that it’s supposed to be about the patrons’ comfort, not about the staffs.

Smallest Apple Bees I’ve ever been to, along with the slowest «ever»… Not to mention the bad/​rude attitude waitress! Would not recommend this place to anyone! So much for a good dinner with the family after Cincinnati Reds game.

The food was fine, but our waitress was intent on berating a new, in training, waitress every chance she had. As she seated us, she made a point of rewiping the table while telling the new girl, it was because of «good communication. «I still have no idea what that meant.

Parmesian shrimp and sirloin, baked potato cold, but tasted good, steak, shrimp and salad were great. Corona was warm, glass was refrigerator cold not frozen. Service ok. Ordered steak medium rare it was cooked correctly. The place was busy on a wednesday, so others must be happy with the place. I did not complain or comment to staff about potato.

Gave Applebees another chance tonight and was yet again strongly disappointed! First I ordered a white peach sangria which was brought out promptly — with a fly floating in the middle of it. Yes, talk about disgusting! I asked the server to replace my drink and he did but never took the beverage off my bill and I’m sorry but if u bring me food or drink with DEAD ANIMALS in it then I do not expect to pay for that item. The service was slow as it always is — our server kept chatting w someone he knew sitting at the bar while I stared at him hoping he would see we needed refills, to go boxes, and a check. The food was decent — I love the wonton tacos but as I mentioned in my previous review, it really is best to get it to go. Service sucks and the fly in my bar drink really ruined any positive sliver of hope this place may have had. AVOID!

As I sit here and have only seen our waitress twice to take order and to follow our food out. We never got butter for baked potato. Ugh. And we are done eating. I hate chains. The serves is horrible. And the food is just ok all microwaved. Will not tip.

It’s Applebee’s so I’m prejudice already. The food has always been hot and service super quick. If you go at lunch time they make a point of getting you out quick since a large clientele works at the factories or other businesses. The waitresses have been hit and miss — when it comes to knowing the menu and especially the bar offerings. We went for a work outing and when sitting at the bar I have been completely ignored in favor of a smartphone. Also been served the incorrect alcoholic beverage (Tequilla vs vodka) — ick! It’s not a bad place but it is a chain blah blah sort of place. I’d prefer something else if there is an option.

Had a party of twelve on Mothers Day, called ahead and was told there would be 20min. Wait, reasonable. Got to the restaurant and it took 1 ½ hours to receive our food from the time we got there. Food is bland, kids ordered Fish and Chips, Walmart Brand Quality, forgot my one dinner, ribs were DRY AND BURNT, with barely any barbecue sauce!!! The manager did apologize and adjusted the bill. The waitress was good. THEY LOST 12 customers from returning! Very Disappointed! Should have stuck out the wait at Montana Mike’s Steakhouse!

Ok is how I would rate this applebee’s. Service was adequate and the food was bland and tired. Portions a bit small for the $$.

We went to Applebees for a Sunday lunch with a group of eight people (with a variety of personalities). We received excellent service. Ashley W was very patient with our group and was attentive, quick with drink refills (we never had to ask), and was able to answer all our questions. She was friendly and kind and positive. She cleared out plates quickly but not too quickly. She was also good at upselling– suggesting other items. We smiled when she asked us «would you just love some…» and described some of the desserts. Really charming but not pushy at all– great balance!
Our food came out quickly with enough time between the appetizers and meals. We thought the onion rings were excellent — perfect! The potato twists (like curly warm potato chips, lightly seasoned with a side of sauce) were also good and something you’d find at a street fair– not something I’ve seen on a restaurant menu.
The nachos were also great (my cousin ordered them but it was a huge order so we all shared) — spicy and great warm chips. My chicken caesar salad was really good. Only one complaint– the menu said «basket of garlic toast» but what I received were actually bread sticks, which I probably wouldn’t have ordered if I had known that.
Everyone was really pleased with their meal. The service we received was really top notch from everyone, starting and ending with someone opening the door for us.
They had the Colts game on the TV and they even had the audio on in the restrooms!
