Scott and Andy are horrible to work with. Paperwork was not completed on their end and these men called and harassed my mother about a «check» that was nonexistent at this point. Instead of working through this with her, they yelled and made her feel terrible. All these people needed was a signature on a piece of paper, but they felt accusing her of spending money she never saw and threatening to go into her bank account was more appropriate. Absolutely ridiculous.

I was in the area, so I popped in and asked if they could install a new blinker light bulb on the side panel of my 3. Its really hard to get to, so I couldn’t do it myself.
I pulled into the service drive with no appointment, sort of expecting that I was about to get ripped off (you know the stigma about getting work done at a dealer). Lucky me, there was someone there to help me out. A young man, probably in his early twenties.
He dropped everything, got down on the ground and, after digging around a few minutes, he said that the bulb wasn’t even attached. So, he reattached it and it worked! This whole ordeal took him about ten minutes and he was kind about it, not annoyed that I was interrupting his lunch break (I believe I was).
Well guess how much they charged me? NADA. Absolutely nothing. Zilch!
Now, I’m left with a GREAT impression of this dealer and I will definitely be back to them next time I need something fixed.
p. s. I also appreciate the smiling, friendly, car-​smart woman that worked at the service desk. She is definitely an asset.

tried to purchase a 2007 Mazda cx-​7 today with 130k miles, scratched up all over the driver side, off-​brand crappy tires and wanted $ 9k for it… nearly $ 10k out the door, was what they told me. Apparently they were high as hell when they threw this number out at me for an ’07 with high miles, scratched to hell and back, crap tires and the car is a discontinued model. (For the record, sticker price was $ 9k.way overpriced. I offered $ 8k out the door CASH and the guy was so horrified at that number.)
Then when I told them the sale would be contigent on getting it inspected, the guy grilled me about where I’d take it, that I could be trying to steal the car (real nice aye?!) and that it doesn’t need inspected. That was it for me. HUGE RED FLAG. if any dealership does not GLADLY accept or even offer you to get the car inspected by someone of your choice, then run!!!
This place is shady, rude, condescending, and totally unreasonable.
I’ll go buy my car somewhere else for a lot cheaper… after I take it to a mechanic to check out first. ;)

I went to this Mazda dealership today around 7pm, in hopes of getting a trade in value for my car. I would like to purchase either a Mazda 3 or 6, but this somewhat depends on the value of my trade in. A salesperson approached me, I told him my need, and we went to sit at his desk. He started asking me about options for the car, and I explained I wasn’t sure yet as I hadn’t decided between the 3 and the 6 and wanted to know my trade in value before I chose, as the 6 is more expensive. He got up and returned a few minutes later with a man who introduced himself as the sales manager, who’s name I don’t recall, but sure wish I did (upon calling I am told this individual’s name is Scott Ehart. Not sure if that is correct spelling). This guy was a complete a**hole. He started off by basically telling me he didn’t want to spend time giving me a trade in value unless I knew the exact car I wanted (I just wanted to know what dollar amount I was working with before I did all of the grunt work of picking out options). I told him that and he asked if I had done any research. I had and replied that KBB had valued my trade in around 8600. He arrogantly launched in to how KBB is always off and too high and pulls up Edmunds. He asked how many miles were on my car and I told him 120,400. He pretty much laughed in my face and said «whoa that’s a lot of miles! And it gave you an 8600 trade in value!!!» as if I was a total idiot. Um… nit wit… the car is a 2006. 120k is average mileage for that year of a car. He then enters my car info in to Edmunds and smugly pulls up a trade in value of about 6k.((WAY too low. Lexus North Shore actually quoted me 10k but I do not want a new Lexus). By this point I wanted to spit in dude’s face. I quietly mentioned there were some extra options he could put in, which he did, and it slightly raised the value. But by now I didn’t even want to be near this guy. This man was the type of individual who was surely bullied when younger, and is now taking it out on other people. I took my key, sarcastically said I was sorry to waste his time, and walked out. I had every intention of buying, a trade in, a down payment, and over an 800 credit score. Way to let a sale walk out the door, fool. What stellar management skills ya got there, buddy!
I feel I was treated this way because I am an attractive woman and was alone when I went in. I think he thought he saw an easy target and there is definitely some gender discrimination amid this situation. I will go to a different Mazda dealership to buy my 3 or 6 (and bring a male friend along).

Calling on the phone, me:
«Hi, what oil change specials do you have going on right now?»
Russ Darrow Mazda (RDM) receptionist:
«You can check the Internet»
Me: «But I don’t want to check the Internet that’s why I’m calling»
RDM:
«I can check the Internet if you want to wait while I pull it up»
Me:
«Why don’t you transfer me to service, they should know»
Service:
«We don’t know what specials there are… There are a lot of sources… Check the Internet… There’s a tire rotation and oil change coupon, I think… (She lists off a few more)
Me:
«It’s not very nice when a customer calls for information and just get told to go and check on the Internet. I’m actually in my car driving right now, that’s why I can’t check the Internet and that’s why I’m calling.»
Service:
«We don’t know why specials there are, no one tells us… Would you like to schedule an appointment?»
Me:
«No. Thank you. Goodbye.»
To Russ Darrow Mazda:
Would you expect to call a business, let’s say a restaurant, and ask what specials they had for the night and be told «Go check the Internet». Would you expect the restaurant staff to say «We don’t know the specials, no one tells us.» Really?
Your customer service is shameful.
I’m embarrassed for the behavior of your staff and refusal to communicate with them. They should know what they’re selling because they work there. The management is accountable for this. Train your staff. Customer service 101 would be a good start.
I don’t come here anymore and calling today was the chance to win me back.

Seriously… don’t even waste your time. If I could give this dealership zero stars, I would.
My fiancé and I were prepared to purchase a car from Russ Darrow Mazda last night. Michael was semi-​helpful and very nice however when he brought his sales manager Patrick over to go over pricing, it was all downhill from there. He was condescending, cocky and very rude. At one point, he said to us, and I quote: «Well why are you still here then?». I can’t imagine anyone willingly purchasing a vehicle from this man.
As I stated, we were prepared to purchase last night. We went down the road to Arrow Hyundai and were treated with the respect and kindness that any customer should be treated with. We purchased a much nicer vehicle from Arrow Hyundai with a better warranty and with MUCH better customer service.

I did not purchase a vehicle here, but please read on.
I was in the market for a new car, different car class than I had so I was driving every car in the desired new car class.
I went here to look at cars, not for a car. This is the most important time for a customer, when we’re not brand loyal yet. We’re looking for a vehicle to love.
When I went here, I went with my friend to look at CX-​5s and he was looking at Mazda3s. We were first approached by an INTENSELY TAN man who passed me his card, which told me he was part of the President’s Club. I would guess that he was around 50 +/​-​10 years (his tan really threw me off) and he was everything I expected from a car salesman.
I explained I was price sensitive — I never defined what this meant to me — and that I had looked at RAVs and Hyundai Tuscans and that I liked a lot of things about the Tuscan.
He told me to buy the Tuscan and walked away.
Okay, fast forward 10 minutes and we’re still looking at cars. David Hudy reapproaches us and starts talking about cars. This is exactly what I’m talking about! Yeah, sell me a car!
David was great because I knew he wanted to sell a car, after all, he is a sales person, but he was also very personable. It made me want to buy a car from him.
We talked about models, features, and he took us on a test drive. He joked with us and answered our questions.
After everything was said and done, we sat at his desk and we talked to his sales manager. Finally, someone who wasn’t super sleezy… a young gentleman who also wanted to sell us a car, but wasn’t condescending
I planned to take my significant other to test drive the CX-​5, but I randomly test drove another vehicle and fell in love with it immediately. I ended up leasing that vehicle, which is not a Mazda.
I wanted to buy a car from David Hudy; he turned the experience around for me.
That being said, if you are looking for a Mazda, please go to Russ Darrow Mazda of Greenfield and ask for David. You won’t be sorry.

After having my Mazda serviced at two other dealers in Seattle and Orange County, and dealing with other car dealership service departments for my parents cars, I realized how horrendous Russ Darrow is. Upon arrival, I must’ve interrupted the two service advisors’ lunches because these two ass clowns didn’t seem to want to help me and kept on pushing me onto each other. Finally after a few smart ass comments out of my mouth, they realized that I meant business. So, with respect to first impressions, they would get zero stars. Anyway, the 15k service took over 2 ½ hours, which seemed like kind of a long time, but I wont hold that against them.
From the sales side, Bryan, the internet sales dude, was super nice and a pleasure to work with. His Vanilla-​ice looking sales «manager» was the stereotypical sales «manager» who thought he was all bad and tried to play hardball. I’ve worked at dealerships in the past and have purchased/​leased cars on my own, so I knew very well his game. In any case, the cheesiness is enough for me to not recommend the dealership.
As for the physical space and comfort level of the shop, it’s bare to the bones. They offer no bottled water or drinks (something the two other Mazda dealers did, as do International Autos and Gordie Boucher Nissan) for people waiting. I know this can be a trivial thing, but every little thing should count when you’re in the service and sales industry.

Purchased my Mazda3 here 5 years ago and really have never had a problem.
I always go here for my oil changes because I can find coupons either in their mailers or on their website that makes it comparable to any other oil change place.
They always call if they find an issue before they do anything to see if you actually want it done or not.
Pretty easy to make and get an appointment and I’ve never felt uncomfortable there or looked down upon by any staff member «just because I’m a girl».
Nice waiting area with televisions, magazines, coffee, computers, and more, though I typically just go home and wait since I don’t live far.
My brother and grandparents also bought cars from here dating back to 2005. I recommend it!
