Smitty’s Pub

Smitthy’s Pub is a good place to go if you are looking for a place to go where you can drink cheap American beers, either by the glass or pitcher. And play some pool and hang out.
If you are looking for a bar to sample a variety of New England craft beers — this is not your bar. I learned this the hard way — I came in one evening looking for a place to do a flight of Ales (tasting of Ales). I tend to gravitate towards Pale Ales, IPAs, Imperial IPAs, Porters, and Stouts. And this IS NOT the bar for that!
To her credit, the bartender was very friendly and awesome. She explained that the types of Ales I was looking for just did not sell well at their joint. She did give me a taste of the one local brew they had — some sort of really light beer, a lager I think. Which is not not what I was looking for.

It’s the vic’s slightly updated cousin complete with two pool tables & one of the only out door smoking balcony.
And free pop corn.
And a fresh paint job in the bath room.
And nice bar tenders
oh, and wikkid cheap beer.
Worth the visit.
