Went on a field trip with preschoolers, it was fun and they have some interesting things going on for the kids and a nice play area.

Love the picking apples in the orchard. And they have a great kids section that cost $ 4. We like going there during the week, and generally during the fall season they have one week with no school trips. So it’s nice to take advantage of that. The only bummer part is that we go earlier in the day and they only do the hayrides after 2 for non school trip visitors. Don’t miss their store across this street. This past season they have added lunch to their menu and you can eat inside or outside. I haven’t had lunch there, but their apple slush is tasty as well as their pumpkin and apple donuts.

We came from NYC for a Colts game and decided to visit the orchard on our free day. The orchard was beautiful. I was excited to get some Indiana apples! We picked a bag full, and got home the next day to find each of them had mold when they were cut into. They were all different apples too. Sucks we can’t even go back to get fresh ones. So disappointing, money wasted.

I love Tuttle Orchard! Come here every year for pumpkins and go to the little store throughout the rest of the year. Friendly employees.

This was my first visit to Tuttle’s on a Saturday afternoon and although they were very busy, parking/getting in and out was easy with staff directing traffic. Parking and admission is free. All of the staff we encountered were friendly. You can pick your own pumpkins and apples and the prices are appropriate. There is a kid’s area with a playground, corn maze, and hayride. On their website, it shows a petting zoo but the only animal there was a llama.so. The farm store was charming and I could have easily bought just about everything. Many items were locally made in Indiana. They offered samples inside the store of their apples, pumpkin/apple butters, and syrups. Their apple cider was the best I’d ever had and the pumpkin donut was delicious(and huge!) Overall this was a great place and it’s worth the drive to Greenfield.

My favorite fall destination! Tuttle’s is my happy place! Delicious apples, idyllic rural setting. I really delight at picking the just right apples for crisps, pies, applesauce, and apple butter. I’m even going to try my hand at mead this year! Back to Tuttle’s… nice kid’s play area with plenty of activities to keep the little ones happy. The sweet shop has amazing donuts, cider, cider slushies, caramel apples, and now even lunch combos. Hayrides and pumpkin picking is irresistible in the late fall. They also have a u pick sunflower patch! So many beautiful varieties. As the season progresses there are tons of decorative gourds and mums available for purchase as well. I always leave feeling relaxed and content.(I also only come on weekdays when it is less crowded.) Keep in mind that they are closed on Sunday. I’m a huge fan of this longstanding family business.

I’ve been going to Tuttles since I was a kid. There is plenty of parking and you can self pick 6 – 8 different types of apples and pumpkins during their season. Fall is obviously the best time to come as they serve hot cider, bratwurst, corn, and sweets. They offer hay rides, games for kids, and a fantastic store filled with veggies, fruits, cheeses, spreads, and juice. During the summer they have delicious sweet corn available. A great local supplier of natural foods and friendly service from this family run business.

First visit to Tuttle’s and was impressed by the selection at the farm store. Still several variety of apples, and the quality was very good. Bought three pecks of different varieties, and not a single bruised apple. Will be going back next fall for u pick.

I enjoyed my visit to Tuttle Orchard. It’s a nice drive from Indy. Not far at all. The process is fairly straightforward. Simply go to the cashier station, select the amount of apples you want to pick. I believe they had a $ 4, $ 8, and $ 16 bag. I selected the $ 8, which was plenty. I was able to visit fairly early in the season, so at the time only four varieties were available to pick. Since I am a big kid at heart, I just had a blast strolling through the orchard with my little sister picking apples. It’s just a fun experience looking for the perfect apples. So may varieties. There was one variety(can’t remember the name) that was a bit scarce. There were more apples on the ground than on the trees! Irregardless, we overfilled our bags and truly had a blast. We checked out the store, but some of the prices were a bit high for my liking, so we just left. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to Tuttle Orchards. Not only are you supporting a local business you just can’t beat the experience of picking your own apples. I took my high school aged sister and even she had fun. Be sure to check out the orchards website because they have a variety of events through the season and do a great job keeping you updated on the what’s available for picking.

First visit to Tuttle’s Orchard for our family a few weeks ago for apple picking. Very impressed with all the different activities, and the fact that they don’t charge you to apple pick, or «park». Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our daughter had such a good time, it was hard to get her to leave! Apples, pumpkins, gourds, apple cider slushies, apple, and pumpkin donuts are a few of our take-homes. So much more there to eat, do, and see. We will definitely be back next year… this is our new«go to» for fall!

We enjoyed a great visit to Tuttle Orchards last weekend. Pick your own apples(they had four varieties at the time), pumpkins, and sunflowers! We had lunch there before picking: pulled local pork, chips, their fresh applesauce, and a drink for $ 7. You could add fresh corn on the cob too! The food was good and reasonably priced. They have a store with an impressive spread of local/farm groceries, classic candies, and of course all things Fall. A separate building houses all the sweets: fudge, pumpkin cheesecake muffins, and apple cider slushes! I’ll be visiting Tuttle’s again next fall and recommend it to anyone needing to get into the Fall spirit! P. S. Tuttle’s marketing is great… they have a Facebook page that they regularly update so I’d check that before your visit for information on what’s available to pick, hours, etc.

While many people know Tuttle’s as a fall time destination for carmel apples, apple cider, corn mazes, and pumpkins, it is much more than that. It is a family owned farm that is opened year round. Their store is one of the best places to get locally grown products. They carry more than just apples there. They carry products of other local farmers, including grain feed beef, some pork products, and now chicken breasts. Their products vary based on what’s in season, but you can always find meat, apple cider, frozen pies, frozen veggies and fruits, and local honey. One of their best programs is their tote program which you can get weekly, and biweekly in winter, which provides you with fresh fruits and veggies. Over the years Tuttle’s has improved their fall activities by modifying the farm for an increase of visitors during this time. They have cops who direct traffic and parking attendants to point you to where you need to go. They also have separated their sweat shop on Saturdays from the regular store, so the carmel apples, cider slushies, and fudge are across from the actual store. They also have a outside hotdog, brat, and corn stand. They have increased their seating area for this as well. Just be forewarned that their busiest season is late September through early November and you can expect a crowd of families during this time which can take away from the peacefulness of the farm. Also, they are a family run business and they are closed on Sundays.

Pumpkins, Apple Cider, Hay Rides, Lots of additional activities. Great location to spend the day with your family. It can get a little muddy, but hey, it’s outdoors, so just come prepared on wet, slippery days. Closed on Sundays as I recall.

Tuttle’s is worth the drive to Greenfield in the fall. There’s lots of stuff for the kids to do in their play area, a petting zoo and pony rides, and they have u-pick fields and orchards as well. It’s the best on the east side and probably in the area. Food offerings aren’t so great if you’re stuck out there during lunch, but their snack foods are excellent… caramel apples, cider slushies, fudge, kettle corn… typical stuff that you would expect to find in the fall, but very good. Sadly, we never go out there the other 364 days of the year, so I don’t know what it’s like outside the fall. I know they have a farm store, but that’s about it. Make sure you get directions before you go. This location is not off of Pendleton Pike as one reviewer says… it is out in the middle of the country, with the closest N/S main roads being Mount Comfort Road and State Road 9.

I have been going to Tuttle’s Oarchard since I was really little. I usually go in the Fall to buy huge pumpkins, apple cider and fresh produce. During halloween they have a corn maze and all types of fun things for kids and families to do. It is definitely worth checking out. My mom is a teacher and has taken her class to the orchard for field trips for many years. They have all types of educational tours that are really fun. If you are a teacher around the area you should give them a call and look into it. I know my mom enjoys taking her class to the orchard and she always raves about what a great experience it is for the kids. I strongly suggest getting a caramel apple while you are there! It is the BEST Caramel Apple you will ever have. Oh and everything is reasonably priced, high quality, fresh and the people are all friendly!

Evvvvvveryone do the orcha-cha-cha-orchard! The Autumn harvest brings such blissful harmony. I feel like I could hug everyone at these sorts of places. Everyone’s so happy. It’s Mother Nature’s North Pole /FAO Schwartz during Christmas time. Located NW of downtown(a 25 minute drive from downtown), off Pendleton Pike… this is a super accessible. There are only a few«U-Pick» orchards around, and this is one of them. Rather than picking basket grabbers on a stick(official name, no?) they supplied red flier wagons with baskets. Jonathan & Cortland are ripe for the pickin’. I thought we picked too much then they rang us up for $ 8.49& at that very moment I was incredible happy as how cheap it all was. They were also down for me to open up the cider in the store, start quaffing and take it around the orchard while picking. The bathrooms were mighty clean, with potpourri. The store had more than apples. It’s chock full of autumn treats. They have the full flight of Sioux City sodas. They have a sassafras tea from San Francisco. They have frozen pies to take home. They don’t allow pets on the orchard(due to FDA guidelines). When we there(mid-September) they had ample pumpkins and they were roasting corn and grilling brats and serving cider slushies outside. When living here as an adult there will not be an Autumn without apple picking, plain & simple. Oh, you thinking I’m talking about myself? No, no, I’m talking about all of you.

Get out to Tuttles before it gets too cold to pick all the golden, red and other delicious varieties of apples here. This place is family-owned, and does all sorts of school, family, etc. tours. You pick your own apples in the orchard, and then pay for the spoils all at once. Tuttles makes some great apple cider. Mike, the patriarch, says about four apples always go into it to balance the flavor. Tip: Better cider is made in the autumn, when more apples come into season. There’s also a decent array of cheeses, spreads, veggies and, of course, fresh-made candy apples at the resident shop.

I miss the days of the kids going on preschool field trips to the local apple orchards, so we make it a point to visit at least one each fall. Tuttle Orchards is one of our favorites, by far. I can’t get out of the place without arming myself with enough goodies to get me through the fall … and into the winter. Well, that’s a lie. I go into it like a bear stocking up for winter, but the truth is it doesn’t take our family long to hog it all down. Favorites at the Tuttle market store(located right at the orchard) include candies, caramel apple wraps, apple cider, apples(of course – and Honey Crisp is our favorite variety), and apple crisp ingredients. Mmmm Mmmm … isn’t fall just the BEST time of year?! Oh yeah, and there’s obviously more to the orchard than the shop … though it’s hard for me to get past that. You can pick your own apples and pumpkins, the kids can take field trips here, and there are holiday events as well.
