RIPOFF!!! I have gone there twice. The first time, 25.00 for a set of nails. The next time 33.00. There isn’t a price list anywhere and these people charge whatever they want. My daughter went there and they charged her 20.00. So, what price is it??? Never mind, because I will never go back there, neither will my friends, sisters or daughters.

I had a very lukewarm experience at this salon. Here on a girls weekend with my friend and our daughters, we expected a fun little experience. The welcome we received was lackluster at best, as if bringing young girls into their store was an inconvenience. Our technician, fortunately, was kind and efficient(as compared to my friend’s). She even got my daughter a mini chair so she could sit at the dryers. Overall, I would not recommend this place for a mommy-daughter date.

This nail salon has provided the BEST customer service I have ever received from any nail salon. The staff is super friendly and very accommodative. If I have had to wait on a busier day their staff is still quick and efficient… all the while ensuring that you are happy with the job they’ve done. If you have the opportunity ask for Johnny… but if he’s booked everyone else in there is wonderful too!

I’m EXTREMELY picky about my nails, and went here on recommendation from co-workers. I’m a visitor working in the area, and I was warned ahead of time the smart mouth commentary is meant in fun, not to take anything personal. I asked for Billy, who is the loudest and most obnoxious, but it’s all a front and he has a huge heart! Yes, he’s abrasive, and yes there’s stuff said that’s off color and inappropriate, but I’m pretty thick skinned and tease him back just as bad. I wear acrylic with gel overlay and Billy takes EXCELLENT care of my nails. I’ve gone out of my way to come all the way from Lebanon to Greenfield to have Billy do my fills, and I’ll be seeing him again on Friday after driving up from Scottsburg. I don’t want ANYONE else doing my nails while I’m within an hour or so from Greenfield! All those ladies that wrote before about how rude and obnoxious Billy and his brothers are didn’t notice the love they have for each other and how they treat EVERYONE the same way with a smile on their face and the regulars that have been going to Billy and his brothers for YEARS is a true testimony to the loyalty and good work ethics. So, since you’re in Greenfield and not some hoity toity salon that’d be twice as much with snooty nail techs that don’t know what their doing… get over the obnoxious comments and just have FUN…

I come to Indy a few times a year, and was looking for a place to get a gel manicure, since I go about 3 times a month at home and was in need. After coming here, I won’t be going back. It was super busy and the techs(one very loud one in particular) were yelling at people, and being quite blunt, telling them that it was going to be a «very long wait» and to «go do something else and come back later», which made the waiting very tense, as well as the service. I personally don’t like to hear people yelling all the time. The gel I had before going there had started to peel(previous, old manicure from Oregon), so I removed it myself, partially by peeling it off, which I know isn’t the best for my nails. However, when it was finally my turn, the male tech asked me if I had peeled it off, which I admitted to. Then he proceeded to scold me and tell me that«Instead of picking at your fingers, you should pick your nose.» Really? He even repeated it multiple times throughout my manicure, even when it was done. «Put your fingers in your nose, not on your nails.» If I’m paying for a service, I don’t need attitude. Worst of all, my GEL manicure, which usually lasts me 10 days(guaranteed, if not they will re-do your finger that chipped for free) at my spa in Oregon, chipped 2 days after I got it. Maybe he should spend less time criticizing his client and more time making their nails look good. Bottom line: Avoid this place, the atmosphere is horrible and the service is awful.

I don’t like this place. The staff look uninterested and tired all the time! As if they’re forced to do this job. There’s one particular staff member who is loud and racist and for some odd reason girls like him and ask for him for appointments. I don’t feel welcome in this place.

I went with my sister and niece on Saturday for mani & pedi’s. They use the same foot scrub on everyone, without cleaning it. Then they got an attitude about doing my niece, because she’s three … but a customer is a customer. While finished with my manicure, I was shocked at how they were done. They needed at least another coat of polish, there were bubbles, and very uneven surfaces. Never going back.

It was the beginning of December, but felt like the middle of winter(5 degrees outside, brrr!) and I definitely needed a pick-me-up. So, I stopped at VIP Nails on a whim on my way home. It’s located in a small, but new strip retail center with easy access from the highway. The staff is awesome. There are all Vietnamese, but most of them(at least the guys) speak perfect english. They seem to have a lot of regular customers. It was my first visit, but I listened in while the guys cracked jokes with the patrons. It seemed like most of the jokes were long running ones. But there were even willing to crack a few jokes with me, a newbie. I had a pedicure. There were several(five perhaps?) brand new massage chairs with foot baths. I’ve sat in quite a few massage chairs in my day, but this was the first one where I’ve had a good solid butt massage. The woman who did my pedicure spoke english, but was not as comfortable with the language as the guys that work there. She did, however, give a lengthy and review worth leg massage. Wow, was it wonderful. So good in fact, that I put down my iphone, closed my eyes and just relaxed. Now how’s that for an endorsement! If you’re looking for an affordable($ 23 I think), clean, friendly and fabulously relaxing place to get a pedicure, come here for sure. It’s been a week since my visit, and my toes still look awesome. :)
