Not good as it used to be.

cool event. would go again, nice to see people with their great ideas trying to get a good start. a couple of redundant items,

getgeeked is essentially like a mini CES. There are ways to win various prizes (like USB drives, universal remotes, wall chargers, power stations), but the real focus here is to try out the tech products. Some are pretty cool. Some are lame. It’s easy to geek out here. The line starts to form at 6:30pm and the event’s over at 10pm. They also give out a gift bag of a t-​shirt, a pen, and other chachkies to the first 100 or so people who arrive. There’s also a store if you want to buy any of the products on display (TVs, laptops, headsets). What sucks is that it’s in an inconvenient location in Brooklyn and it takes the G train to get there. Hopefully once they raise more money, they can pick a better spot.
