Standard local joint. Only real complaint is that while you can use a credit card, you can’t leave a tip on the credit card — cash only. I guess that means no tip. Dumb policy. Just don’t take credit cards at all or make an effort to handle the accounting. Don’t put it on your customers.

Talk about a cute little dicey bar. We enjoyed it and the bartender was nice. The drinks were great and we had a great time.
We definitely enjoyed the find of sitting at the bar and watching the locals here. If we lived in town, we would probably frequent this place often.

This place is a hole. It’s dirty, dimly lit, and disgusting. If you want to go to this place, make sure you bring a pair of rubber gloves. The wait staff is inattentive and the beer is poorly chilled. Find another bar, there’s plenty in the area.

The good: this is a total dive bar with reasonable prices. I would consider it a locals hang out. The bartender was generally pretty friendly.
The bad: we had a large-​ish group but it was a Saturday night so it wasn’t unexpected and there was a total of 20 people in the bar. We ordered two food items (poppers and fries). 30 minutes later, food still wasn’t ready. When the bartender was asked, she said the cook was working on it. Three minutes later it appeared. She didn’t take it off the bill or give us a drink. Pretty lame.

Best bar in grenport… Doesn’t try to be anything but what it is… Only place w a pool table and all the bar tenders are great… Best beer for your buck in 11 944.

Whiskey is a great bar in the center of town. Pool and juke box… Great bartenders… Especially Meg and Mellissa… Great people great bar! Oh and the pizza is good!

Local dive, jukebox, beer, and food (which is a newer addition, I hear) I am a new visitor to the North Fork, and have been here about 3 – 5 times. Total bar atmosphere, a pool table. Seems to be what the local and/​or working-​class in Greenport would call «theirs», which I totally get. I tried the pizza here, and it was delicious. If you’re planning on hanging out in Greenport, I suggest you get your hiney into the Whiskey — its the hot spot.

Fun local dive bar with a mix of tourists and locals during the summers. Juke box and cheap drinks is a selling point for me! Open late too.
