Definitely one of the best in the area. I traveled for work a lot, so I would drop off before work in between trips and have my clothes back after 4pm the same day, no matter how much I dropped off. The employees are extremely pleasant and professional. I never had any issues with my clothing; they were always well cleaned. I recently moved and A Cleaner World is definitely one of the things I miss about Greensboro!

My family and I have used A Cleaner World for a very long time, and I have always had a good experience with them. My clothes always come back very fresh and well laundered. The people who work here are also extremely nice and helpful! I would definitely recommend A Cleaner World for dry cleaning services!

A world no cleaner than before — this should be the name of this dry cleaners. I am beginning to wonder if they actually dry clean the clothes or if they just shake and air them out a bit. My jackets are coming back slightly fresher but not cleaned. I was getting suspicious and sent in a jacket with a small food spot on the arm and creases in the sleeve from rolling them. When I picked it up, the stain was still there and the creases. I then sent another with the same signs, and the same results. I am wondering if they are trying too hard to save operational costs? It is really frustrating because they almost have a dry cleaning monopoly in Gboro. I will have to drive way out of my way to find another company!

Three words: avoid this place. We started going to this dry cleaner about six months ago after our cleaner of 12 years closed. In the 12 years at the other place, I can think of 2 occasions where we had a problem. With A Cleaner World, it’s been one issue after another. First, there is a good chance that this place will either crack or lose a button from your shirt or pants. While anyone who uses a dry cleaner expects this to happen from time to time, our experience with this A Cleaner World has been that about 1 of every 10 – 12 items will come back with a missing or cracked button. For us, that’s about 1 of every 3 trips to the dry cleaner. I’m sorry, but that is far too frequent in my opinion to be acceptable, even considering the assembly line manner in which most commercial cleaners launder and press clothes. Second, I would probably forgive the issues with the buttons were it not for the complete failure of this place to follow the most simple of instructions about how to press a pair of pants. The written instructions with our«express» drop-off bag stated this for pants: Pleatscrease; No Pleatsno crease. Given the consistency with which this instruction was followed, however, one would have thought the instructions stated this: IgnoreIgnore; DisregardDisregard. Seriously, there was essentially a 50⁄50 chance that this instruction would be followed from visit to visit. About 2 weeks ago I’d had enough and when I returned to pick up the redone job I told them to keep their express bag and that we would take our business elsewhere. The manager spoke with me, was very apologetic, credited me my bill and suggested we give them another chance, which we agreed to do. In addition, in order to make sure the pressing instructions were not ignored, we(at the manager’s suggestion) stapled another, larger, tag on the express bag with the words«read the tag» written in red ink. Well, this place was able to follow the instructions for all of one cleaning job after my conversation with the manager. The second laundry order came back with 2 pair of incorrectly pressed pants that completely ignored the large red-ink tag and the instruction label. I took the 2 pair of pants back Wednesday morning to have them redone. The same manager I spoke with 2 weeks ago was there and I told him we were done with A Cleaner World. As before, he was very apologetic, but said he understood and that my pants would be ready in 1 hour. I had 3 days of out-of-town business, so I was unable to get back to A Cleaner World to pick up my pants until Saturday. After waiting for about 10 minutes for the clerk to finally find my order, I left the store, returned to my home, unbagged my pants and found… the same incorrectly pressed pants that I dropped off Wednesday, with what appeared to be the same incorrect dry cleaning tickets on them as before. It basically looked as if someone took the pants I brought in and placed them in a plastic A Cleaner World laundry cover. Pathetic. I don’t expect perfection. And I was resigned to just move along and find a new dry cleaner. But the level of service from this A Cleaner World is so deplorable that I felt compelled to write a review and hopefully save someone else a little grief. At first I thought it was incompetence, but I find it hard to believe that anyone can be as incompetent as this place, which leaves me to conclude that they simply have a complete lack of concern and regard for their customers.
