Our Ace is about all I know of their stores. It isn’t far from the house, much closer than a Lowe’s or Home Depot so that is a big advantage over both of those stores.
The problem is, they have a very limited offering of hardware items. A goodly bit of their floor space is committed to stuff. Stuff you can get from Walmart for half the price. That means they don’t really have much to go along with their what their ads say «Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man». It’s easy to remember the jingle but hard to find who or what they’re talking about.
They do actually have a few screws, nuts and bolts, glue, and paint, but don’t expect to get anything there out of the ordinary. I’d say they are sort of a «convenience store of hardware stores».
