Carolina Thrift Store

This is one of my favorite thrift stores. I always seem to find something. It is an average thrift store so it isn’t super clean or organized, but you don’t get the feeling that you immediately need to shower like some other stores either. They do have a large selection and the prices are definitely reasonable. Not to mention something is always on sale. This isn’t the place to go for the latest fashion, but if you’re just looking for a couple of additions to your closet this is the place to check out.

Main negative of this place: Parking is horrible here, especially on weekends. Horrible.
Main positive: The place is huge though. Sketchy but huge. Might come again because I was looking for something specific last time I came and didn’t find it. They have SO many clothes and shoes and jewelry.

Pros:
–This thrift store has so many options! It’s much bigger than it seems from outside. I was really shocked at how much there was inside!
–It’s very organized. They have different rooms for sweaters, jeans, tops, etc.
–They accommodate women, men, and kids. They also have accessories and other findings.
–From what I hear from other customers they have amazing sales. I think one told me they have half off Mondays and sales are color coded the rest of the week.
–Price ranges are about right.
–The workers were very helpful and nice.
Cons:
–Parking is very limited.
–I understand that thrift stores are supposed to be underground and not in the best condition… but I couldn’t enjoy whatever I tried on, because the fitting rooms were so dirty and had nowhere for me to hang my stuff inside. The mirrors were outside only so, I had to constantly open the door so I can see how I looked. I think if they painted the walls and cleaned up (especially in the fitting rooms) I would have felt better about it and went back. Instead, I walked in feeling like the place was a little dusty, stayed because I was interested in the possibilities with the options they had, and walked out feeling dirty.
–I normally thrift to find cute little random things that you normally wouldn’t find in other stores (like vintage and historical pieces), especially accessories… but I didn’t really find much of that. Maybe I just didn’t look hard enough, because I felt dirty after trying a top in the fitting room…
but this place is worth a visit! Alot of people seem to like it.

This thrift store looks like a small strip mall shop front but looks are deceiving, this place is huge and chock full of clothes and knick knacks.
