Great spot to dig for records in the triad area w/a friendly knowledgeable staff always there to help you out. Don’t forget to sign up for their e-mail blasts, they always list a majority of their new /new used releases coming out that week! Support your local independent music stores!

Friendly staff. Great for used classic rock, funk, soul and jazz. VERY reasonable prices. Not much as far as new releases go… But if you’re trying to build that back catalog from the 50s –80s this place is great. Tons of $ 1 steals as well… A awesome place for crate digging for sure.

These folks might be the nicest record store owners I’ve ever dealt with. The Unilocal coupon isn’t valid, FYI, but the guy I talked to was really polite when he told me that was the case. You know how some record store owners act like even talking to them is an imposition? Didn’t feel that at all here. The prices were very fair. I picked up Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation and David Bowie’s Scary Monsters for under 15 $ all together. They had a good mix of old and new. I’d encourage anyone to stop on by.

I live in Asheville NC where we have several great record stores, but when I’m in Greensboro I always love to spend an hour or so going through the stacks at CFBG. What I love about this place is they aways greet you once you’re through the door, ask if they can help, then LEAVEYOUALONE which I like. The prices are great, from the dollar crates to the new issues. Its fairly small place near UNCG, but neatly and categorically inventories thousands of beautiful vinyl records, from country to metal, funk to punk these guys have it. Be sure to sign up for the e-mailing list. At least once a week the’ll notify you of the new stuff in stock.

Great record selection and excellent staff. Im an out of towner, but CFBG’s is certainly on my list to come back to next time I’m in Greensboro. I enjoyed the laid back environment which makes the reasonable prices even better. As a bonus you can even by beer while you are there, how could you go wrong?
