China’s Best

One word really to sum this place up… Terrible!
I guess I’ll write a little more then. I saw the mix reviews for this place so I went here with the words of others in the back of my mind, but I was still open to trying it. The food was awful. I ordered the general tso’s chicken for lunch. It had ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR! The food looked good in the bowl, but it definitely wasn’t good to eat. Save your money and go somewhere else. Luckily the new Hops burger bar is open in that plaza, go there!

Do not eat here! I repeat DO NOT here. If there was an option for zero stars it would be the most appropriate rating.

Definitely my go to place for chinese food in the area. Great lunch deals and food is always hot and tasty.

Well, I was going to try this place so that I could accurately critique it, but there was no need after the terrible customer service skills kicked in. Let’s just say, by time I left, I ended up giving them a few tips on how to treat customers.

Okay Chinese food. Only had 3 shrimps in my szechuan shrimp; really? There was not enough sauce in it, either. Also had egg rolls„ which were only okay, as well. The service, as previously mentioned, is not the best.

Quality Chinese. Good prices. Plenty of leftovers to boot. They do a great take– out!

Love it. From massachusetts were we always got great Chinese. Have been in NC for several years and a friend recommended chinas best. Best Chinese in greensboro, IMHO.

Glad I ordered here even though i was leary at first from reading the reviews. This place was great! Fast service and excellent food. Ordered ten wings which were good sizes and tasty, not dried out. Also has the sesame chicken that was very delicious and one of the best ones from a take out Chinese joint. The shrimp in the fried rice were big and fresh too. I will definitely be back.

Wow. Have been ordering here for years… last few months have been awful. Did the management change? New owner?
Anyway, had to finally cancel an order tonight after 1.5 hour wait. Oh well, time to find another decent delivery place.

One of the main critiques I’ve heard of Greensboro is that there is no good takeout Chinese. I certainly would never recommend China’s best to anyone, but if you’re in need of some easy Chinese takeout, this one gets the job done. The general’s chicken is enjoyable but nothing special.
Oddly, my favorite thing about this place is the woman behind the counter who, while a tough nut to crack, is friendly and helpful once you’ve been there a few times.
Let’s be honest here, if you were wanting great chinese, why are you taking it home in a plastic bag to eat with a plastic fork on your couch?

I have been looking for a go-​to Chinese take out place in Greensboro and decided to try China Best due to the decent reviews and close proximity to my house. I had been craving Chinese for months and was so excited to dig in to my staples entrees — beef and broccoli and chicken lo mein — and was quickly disappointed. It was flavorless and the meat looked rather questionable. I had to cover it with my own soy sauce and sriracha just to barely enjoy it. Needless to say, I will not be returning and my hunt for decent Chinese in Greensboro will continue.

China’s Best is the worst. The Kung po chicken was flavorless and the pieces were chopped as small as baby food. Last weekend had the house fried rice and it tasted like rice with vegetable oil on it – no flavor., My son loves the won ton soup and the prices are good … But there has to be better Chinese in Greensboro! I miss King House and Vietnamese Garden!

Great place for Chinese takeout. Love the black pepper chicken and fried dumplings. The staff is always on point and they are always busy. They also deliver which is a plus and it’s free, but the delivery time ranges from 20 to 45 mins that’s my only gripe so far.

Normally I stand by my initial feeling of a restaurant but after coming here for years it’s just not gotten better or has gotten worse slowly. The crab rangoons were nothing but garlic and onion and cream cheese. Got any fake crab back there? Those are usually my favorite part of the meal, and I was disappointed. I did like the addition of mushrooms with beef n broccoli and my rice definitely came fried like I had asked. However we asked and were echoed that the other dish were to have white sticky rice. This did not make it in our bag. If were spending over $ 20 and you tell me on the phone that you’re going to make white rice for us we should get it in the bag. Shame on us for not double checking. But double shame on you guys for confirming the order and then blatantly not putting it in there. Other than that I’ll go here again… but not for those crab rangoons!

Well, I hope this not the best that China can offer Greensboro! My family ordered three different dishes and none was better than «fair» in taste. The staff up front are all very nice and Chinese-​American so I expected much better food. I will not return.

Prompt, fresh, and definitely the best chinese in Greensboro. The crab rangoon is a personal favourite, paired with sesame chicken, and shrimp with lobster sauce!

True confession, this is our Chinese place in town because it’s less than a mile from our house and they don’t offer delivery. We just happen to be lucky enough that it’s one of the best in town! Service is always fast and courteous, although if you don’t ask for sauces you don’t get fortune cookies (and I always forget until I get home and am a little disappointed). Egg rolls are crispy and delicious, and all of the food options we have tried (all chicken) are standard and tasty. If you are looking for all your American Chinese favorites, I highly recommend this little gem.

This place is definitely not closed. If you want to order from here, I would advise not asking for delivery — they are absolutely the worst in Greensboro, perhaps the entire east coast.
My last order took 1hour and 45 minutes after I was told it would 30 to 45 minutes. After 2 phones calls and being told it was on the way, I gave up and made other arrangements. When it did arrive, I sent it back. Never heard a word from the place. Guess they don’t care, must have all the customers they need. And that is the second time I’ve sent the food back for being way over the estimated time of delivery.
The way they have handled this is rude, and arrogant. Too many choices to waste my time with the like of this place. I gave it a 1 because there is no choice of zero, or a minus.

I’ve never had anything but prompt, courteous service from China’s Best, and they are quite possibly the best Chinese take-​out restaurant in the Triad. When I’ve wanted Chinamerican take-​out, this has been my go-​to place for more than 15 years.
