Myself and my family met here for lunch today. My brother in law was told that a table was being cleaned for us, 15 minuets later we were seated… Must have been a dirty table! We got our drinks… and refills… and another refill… Then about 30 minuets later, could have been more! We get our food! FINALLY! We were sooooo hungry… Now normally we have very fast service whenever we come here… So I’m not sure what was happening today… The corn muffins we very VERY dry! And the biscuits did not look like they were completely done… Other then that, everyone seemed to be happy…

Cracker Barrel… it is what it is! I can’t say it’s the most amazing food I have ever had. Typical food, typical service, typical wait in a over cluttered shopping area. Here buy this holiday crap you don’t need or a super sized candy bar, Good to go to when traveling when you don’t want fast food.

I’ve eaten here several times, but most recently for the bridesmaids’ brunch of a wedding I was in. The staff was great at managing the 16 of us. Everything was piping hot, delicious, and accurately made. I love their French toast! Their prices are competitive and the experience is good. Definitely gives you that down-south feel. We had a great time!

I haven’t always had the best service with other Cracker Barrels around the country, BUT today Samantha changed my thinking! I’m here today visiting my daughter at college from VT. Please give Samantha some positive reinforcement for her excellent service with a smile! Dawn

It is a Cracker Barrel good food turning tables quickly during the morning breakfast rush. Nothing spectacular nothing bad either.

Stopped by with a friend for a quick lunch and they were very busy. But lunch was still served quickly. I ordered a veggie plate and wasn’t disappointed. They were very good home cooking taste. My friend had the meatloaf and as always it was good. The server did a good job too. Lots of selections to choose from and really good for larger family or friends groups too. There was a family of 20 celebrating a birthday and they accommodation for them was good. I eat here occasionally and I’m never disappointed with the food or service.

It was busy when we arrived, and we were handed menus while in the store area. When we got to our seats, the waitress was irritated because we hadn’t decided before we got to our seats. We have five year old twins, and we were watching them while in the store. She brought our drinks and immediately turned and walked off, even though we were ready to order. 17 minutes after being seated, the rather unpleasant waitress returned. Tables around us who also hadn’t read the menu had placed orders and their drinks were served. The other waitress who brought our food was wonderful. She asked if we needed anything else, and she got us napkins and straws. We also asked for hot sauce, and our waitress walked up, set it down, and walked off before we could ask for a drink refill for my son. The food was excellent, and everything was right. If the service had been better, this would have been an excellent meal.

Came here for breakfast and I have been to a lot of other crackle barrels before. The food here just didn’t taste as good as the other chains. The sausage had a chemical taste to it. The hash brown casserole as too mushy and had way to much cheese. Regardless I still love crackle barrel food like their mamas pancake and buttery biscuits.

Love Cracker Barrel. Biscuits, sweet tea, hot food, and consistent staff. Breakfast all day is a wonderful option. Restaurants are always clean. Love the country store atmosphere. Love antiques hanging on the wall. Creates an awesome atmosphere.

Cracker Barrel seems to be using a short staff/premade food method these days. This store is the worst I’ve seen so far. Slow service, chaotic process, overworked staff making a lot of mistakes. The food was okay but it was not a fun experience. Our server was nice but overwhelmed. The manager gave us a discount to try to make up for things. We appreciate the effort, but I doubt we will give them another chance.

First of all let me start by saying my wife and I own a restaurant and the only time we have to go out to eat is when we are closed which happens to be on Sundays. We have been to this location numerous times and for the most part it has gone downhill. I usually never post but this time it was as if we did not exist. It took about 15 to 20 minutes for someone to recognize that no one had waited on us.(The person that realized it was not our server – I wish she had been maybe we would have had a better experience) That waitress took our drink orders and told us she would find our waitress which she did. Our waitress showed up with our drinks and instead of asking who was drinking what she placed the drinks on the table and took our order and was getting ready to leave when I asked for straws for our drinks.(The kids cups had lids on them) She never came back with the straws. The first waitress explained they were short-handed…In my restaurant we are short-handed 90% of the time and we get it done and the customers do not complain. We have four and five star reviews online. Not an excuse. That;s why you hire managers to get in and fill in where needed. Food took about 30 mins to get to our table. They were not busy at all as we arrived around 8:05 p.m. and we got our food around 9:00 p.m. Food was okay. but someone needs to teach them how to cook a steak as my daughters steak was very tough and was more medium rare then medium well. My steamed cabbage was full of water – (note to cook – use a spoon with holes in it to serve watery steamed foods… We did not ask for a manager but one came by and asked us if everything was alright. At that point we had our food and we just wanted to eat and go. She was very loud and told us that she heard we were unhappy. I told her that we were okay. She told us they were backed up in the kitchen. Not an excuse… She did offer us a dessert and we accepted. If it was me I would have been more discreet and talked in a lower voice to the customer. I hope they get someone to run that place that gets the employees to care about their jobs. It seems they have problems in the back of the house and the front.

I was craving some chicken and dumplings so the family and I headed here for dinner last night. My mom is from up north, where the dumplings are more like biscuits. Southern dumplings are more like noodles. Cracker Barrel’s dumplings are so dense, they’re a beautiful combination of both and the only ones I’ll eat down South. I ordered the chicken and dumpling platter with Mac n cheese, steamed broccoli, and tomato/cucumber/onions. I asked for cornbread as my bread choice. Ten minutes after my family of three sat down, a family of three sat down beside us. However, they got their food ten solid minutes before we did. I would have said it was because they had breakfast and we all dumplings, but one had a steak. And don’t you just ladle dumplings on a plate? I was not impressed with my meal. I’m a light eater and I almost finished my entire meal. Those dumplings aren’t exactly light foods either. I had one bite of chicken in my dumplings. Not one piece of chicken, but one bite. As in, you could stick your fork in it. As in, you could put it on a baby spoon and that was it. My dumplings looked like they covered half the plate but really it was mostly the gravy sauce that gave it that illusion. The Mac n cheese was yummy, the broccoli was good, and the cold veggie combo was a good break from everything heavy. The waitress forgot to bring cornbread and I had to ask for it. She refilled my daughter’s drink several times(lemonade), but never refilled my water. If I go away from a restaurant with no or minimal leftovers, I can only imagine other people went away hungry. Gotta do better next time Cracker Barrel.

For a morning when I was craving breakfast food the night before, it sure hits the spot, and for a very good price too! It was pretty busy as everyone was getting out of church and heading to lunch. I got my fill of delicious food and some tasty coffee, and was even able to peruse the early signs of Christmas in the gift shop :)

My Wife and I were very pleased with our meal, service, and prices. We had Sliced Ham, Oven Fried Chicken, with salad and two vegetables. Ice tea was great. My original concern was it looked a little run down, but this was not the case. It was short on customers when we got there but filled up fast. All in all We were pleased.

Cracker Barrels are everywhere down south, but this one, not the best. During our hour lunch we had 3 different waitresses. They didn’t tell us they were switching waitresses, so naturally we were confused. I had the sample platter(ham, chicken and dumplings, meatloaf, cheese grits, green beans and broccoli). The ham, grits, and green beans were not edible. It tasted like paste. The meatloaf was the gem of this meal. It was flavorful and tangy. Additionally, the corn muffin was awesome. It was made with bacon. Yummy! The biscuit was also great. The staff was good about making a fattening dish diet!

I was so excited to go to Cracker Barrel because I don’t go there much. This visit is a prime example of why. The portions where just so small and I felt like for the price paid doesn’t make a good representation of value in my opinion. I did appreciate the attentiveness and kindness of staff though. The mixed up my egg order with my brother’s order so we just switched meats and resolved it but still. I think the fact that Cracker Barrel has all of that cool stuff to buy is what made up for the lack of order accuracy and portioning. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this location to a family or friend. I don’t think I will be going back to that particular location either.

Truly disappointed with my visit here. The food took way too long to arrive at the table, 35 minutes. I ordered the dinner sampler(chic n dumplins, meatloaf, and country ham) with greens, hash brown casserole, mixed veggies. No need in discussing how the food tasted because we all know Cracker Barrel Note: no chic in the dumplins, meat loaf no slice, just a pile of meat, a small sliver of ham. This would be enough to earn 2 stars at best. But for some reason, CB wanted to go all the way to 1 star status and serve it all up cold :( For some reason the photo looks far better than the review, go figure.

Our favorite spot for breakfast at dinner time. My husband never strays from the Country Boy breakfast that has a taste of everything. They serve the pancakes with real maple syrup and keep a pile of hot biscuits on the table. Sometimes the comfort and consistency of a chain is just what you are looking for…

I love this cracker barrel! The servers are great — they treat you like you’re a guest at their own home. The atmosphere just oozes with southern hospitality, down to the waitstaff, which is wonderful and very welcoming. As for the food, Cracker Barrel always hits the spot when I’m craving Southern comfort food, breakfast food, or even both. I love the fact that I can get my go-to order of grilled rainbow trout with a side order of pancakes as well. The food is super filling, since you get 3 sides with your entrée, as well as biscuits or cornbread. The wait time can be pretty crazy on weekends, especially Sunday brunch, so it’s best to go on a weekday.

I just love their pancakes & I love even more that I request them extra crispy & they aren’t a bit burned! Consistently, good, home-like food(actually better, because I didn’t try to cook it) Always nice service. Always packed.
