We stop by here almost every time we pass through Greensboro. The big draw for us in extremely cheap fresh vegetables in season. For example, all last summer okra was an amazing 19 cents a pound! Great prices on eggplants, tomatoes, cilantro, and a wide selection of specialty veggies that are popular for Indian home cooking. In winter the prices rise, as they should. The store has a great variety of spices, snacks, and the other typical products you find in an Indian store. We have some great Indian stores in Durham, but this one is our favorite in the state! There’s a fairly new vegetarian Punjabi restaurant inside, which is very convenient for a tasty and inexpensive bite to eat while you’re there. I just wish they offered more vegetable dishes, using the fresh ingredients available in the store.

Indu Convenient Store has a good assortment of South Asian ingredients, fresh produce, groceries, etc. They have recently started serving Indian snacks through the kitchen that has been recently added. Food is not the only thing that is available. You can also buy religious articles, DVDs, and some accessories too. They also have a loyalty program which is simple and rewarding.

Check them out for delicious chaats — just started doing snacks and small plates from a small kitchen inside the store and everything is full of flavor, fresh, and as authentic as you can get. So good!

I love this store. Our family has been coming here for AGES!!! They have now started an amazing Punjabi snack bar of sorts. It’s delicious. We especially love the aloo Tikki chole chaat. All their items are freshly made and authentic. Come to shop your Indian wears and have a delicious snack on the side!

This Indian store is vast and has everything you could possibly need for Indian cooking, including spices, flours, dals, rice, pickles, chutneys, frozen items, and even fresh vegetables; the fresh okra I buy here is better than okra from a supermarket! Aside from essential Indian ingredients, Indu Convenient Store also has cooking equipment, DVDs, CDs, religious memorabilia(Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam, etc.), and even jewelry. The prices for everything are fantastic too. This is by far the best and most well-stocked Indian market in the Triad area.
