Great place! Very good quality food with safe gluten-free options. I always get the grilled chicken Greek salad and the chicken is moist and flavorful. I order with a side of tzatziki for the chicken, the salad dressing although good, doesn’t look all that healthy. I wish they would come up with something from scratch, more fluid rather than coagulated. My children love the skewers and say the rice is the best ever. Regular diner :)

Not great. Three stars for friendliness and cleanliness. If you are a spoiled Greek, like myself, or even have somewhat high standards for good Mediterranean fare, you will be disappointed. The dolmathes is from a can. The gyro meat had little flavor and was overlooked and dry. The pita was slightly less than average. My portion was huge, but mostly lettuce. With a large Greek salad I received two calamata olives, along with maybe a few cuc slices, a ration of diced tomatoes and maybe two slices of green pepper. The salad dressing was sweet(more like a raspberry vinaigrette than the traditional dressing I am used to). They were very gracious when I asked if I could have tatziki instead, which was decent with a good cuc flavor, but they use sour cream instead of yogurt. I hate to dis on my fellow Greeks but it’s my honest opinion :-/

I love Mythos! I always get the falafel wrap, which is consistent. The people who work there are so friendly and so nice!

So I’ve been coming to Mythos Grill for a while… and they have always been really great about modifying for weight loss surgery(as in let me order off the kids menu, since I can’t eat rice or French fries) tonight however that changed… I have sent countless people their way knowing they could get food on their menu that would be appropriate and a good portion size(if they order off the kids menu) but apparently no more! So needless to say I won’t be back! Funny, had I ordered take out I could have had what I needed without paying an extra $ 4 for food that would go to waste… so the food is good if not great, and in the past they have been very accommodating but they have lost a customer for life, I’m sure they won’t mind

For good local Greek eatin’, Mythos is the place. Each time I come, they are speedy, reliable, and oh-so-delicious. My personal favorite is the chicken souvlaki plate… none compares! Their well-priced menu, prompt service, and prime location make them a great workday lunch stop. To that end, I sometimes cater Mythos lunches for my business meetings — each time, they’ve impressed.

Little place you might miss if you blink but you should stop in. The meat is juicy and flavorful. Their gyros are generous on food and flavor. Love the sauce. The staff are mostly younger kids that bring fun and laughter to your meal. We had a great server that was on top of everything.

Great place for«fast» Greek salads, gyros, wraps, kabobs, etc. Mythos is a step above other area Mediterranian restaurants if for no other reason than they serve their food on real plates with real silverware, though I think the food is a better, too. Mythos has decent prices and generous servings making it a good value, especially for lunch. I found the service to be friendly and prompt. It’s a great place for a quick lunch, I’m looking forward to having dinner here soon.

I’m a 5-star girl. Each establishment starts with 5 stars, and if nothing bad happens, that’s what they earn. Mythos has never done anything to lose a star. EVER. This is a really efficient little greek place. Chicken kabobs, greek salads and the like. On this trip I was just after some chicken soup and toasted pitas. The chicken soup has rice in it and is just the thing on a cold day or when you’re under the weather. Sometimes I’ll get the greek salad and add chicken skewers to the top, with pitas on the side. Perfection. One thing that really impresses me here is the retention of staff. There are two guys in particular that are there EVERY time I’ve ever been. That’s real loyalty, which tells me that the owners/managers are great leaders. Just one measure of a successful business, which Mythos certainly is.

Friendly service but very mediocre Greek fare. The wait was very short but the flavors were off. Avoid the rice.

Mythos is ok but, if you really want some fantastic mid eastern food, go to Jacks Corner! It is the best.

Come on folks! This is a really poor excuse for Greek and Mediterranean food. About the only good thing I can say is that it is very clean. You know you’re in trouble when they ask what kind of dressing you want on your Greek salad!

Wife & I went here today not expecting much. Having lived in Manhattan for so long we’ve been spoiled by the Greeks, I digress… Anyway this place hit the spot. They have a great selection of food options to choose from & their food wasn’t oily or over cooked. The chicken was cooked to perfection & our pita extremely fresh tasting. I would & am going to return to Mythos. I felt healthy eating here as well. ;^}~

Just ok. The gyro is nothing special, but it is thicker than pita delight which I like. Ok food for a less than reasonable price. I dont think I will be back.

Great lunch place. My son loves their gyro, and I enjoy their grilled chicken salad. Chicken is always moist. There is a lot of people at lunch, so get there early or later.

We finally had a chance to eat at the second location of this very good Greek grill, and they don’t miss a beat here — just as good as the one on West Market Street, though the service doesn’t seem as crisp and timely. Neither place is a complete breeze to get into car wise, but this one is somewhat better if you don’t try to crossover the oncoming traffic as you leave. We ordered the Gyro Wrap($ 5.35), the Club($ 6.95 with FFs), and the Double Cheeseburger($ 5.25 with FFs), 3 of our favorites at the West Market Street restaurant, and none disappointed. The Cheeseburger was excellent, loaded with flavor, nice amount of cheese, and a fresh bun. The burger is a great value at this price, with a side of FFs. The Club was no different, simply one of our favorites — in fact, I’m not sure there is a better one in the city, especially at this price with a nice side of fries. The Gyro was super, as well. I’ve really come to like the way they put their sandwich together, though it took me a little while. The meat is cooked as it should be, well seasoned, and is chopped into nice chunks rather than thinly sliced — this keeps the meat tender and moist, I think. But it is the Tzaziki sauce that sets this gyro — great tasting, made in house sauce, with a touch of sourness from the added sour cream. We like these sandwiches, as well as a number of other items here, and in general the pricing is reasonable. They do serve beer and a few Greek wines, but this is not a linger over dinner kind of place, rather a bright, clean place for a quick lunch or dinner.

So we went here for lunch on a weekday, they were pretty busy and had a lot of trouble keeping up with the volume. The first thing I didn’t like was standing in a huddled group in the opening corner of the restaurant holding our drinks while we wait for a table. They have you order first at the counter, give your name for a table, and hand you a drink. Then we waited about 15 minutes for a table. While waiting for our table we noticed the absurdity of their seating arrangements. All seating was for groups of four. The vast majority of lunch patrons were in groups of two. I decided to count the wasted(empty) seats at these tables/booths and came up with a total of 35 unoccupied seats. It seems they would do well to replace at least one row of 4-person tables with 2-person tables to help with their obvious problem with throughput. Anyway, it was another 25 minutes before our food came out. Meanwhile, we watched a couple of people who came in after us get their food while we were still waiting. It seemed like since we had four people in our group that maybe they were putting the two person orders ahead of ours which we did not appreciate. I noticed at least three people go up to the counter wondering where in the heck their food was, one even asked for their money back. The manager(I think) asked her if they wanted it for carryout. The woman responded, «No, I would still have to eat it somewhere and my lunch hour is OVER!» There was no apology and I didn’t notice if a refund was issued. The overall tone with the staff there when a customer complained was to be like«well, I don’t know what to tell you, we’re busy.» Not«I’m sorry, I know you have been here for 45 minutes, can we offer you a free dessert», or at least a hint of an apologetic tone in the response. It was like take it or leave it, this is it. Not very hospitable. Now the food. I’ll start with the good and go down from there. The gyros were good with adequate meat. The tzatziki sauce was good but a little thick. The fries weren’t anything special, seemed to be processed somehow since they were not salty on the outside, only on the inside after you bit into them. Certainly not fresh cut. One of our group had a chicken sandwich which had good flavor but a tiny probably 3 – 4 ounce chicken breast that looked more like a breast from a cornish hen or something. I had the chicken souvlaki dinner with greek salad. The chicken portion was adequate I suppose, but the meat lacked any distinct flavor and was pretty dry. It would have been nearly impossible to eat without a generous portion of tzatziki sauce. The salad consisted of shredded, yes shredded iceberg lettuce, few onions, two cucumbers, a thin slice of green pepper, and feta. The dressing was pretty good, but the shredded iceberg was not very appetizing. Not to mention they brought out three of our plates and the other came out nearly 5 minutes later. This is after a 40 – 45 minute wait from the time we ordered. We asked twice what was going on with our food and never received an apology for the delay or any offer of anything to try to make up for the delay. Long story short, it took over an hour to get in and out of here. So, if you have an actual lunch«hour» you would not be able to get here, eat, and get back to work on time. The service was lackluster at best, the long-awaited food was subpar on most counts, and fairly expensive for what you get(~$ 7.50 — 9.00). Oh, they also force you to get, or at least pay for a drink! What is that? I don’t usually drink soft drinks and asked if it would be cheaper if I just had water and was told no, price is the same!!! I would recommend just avoiding this place. You are not missing anything! The picture I’ll post of their tabletop beer list shows a quote that is as confusing and disorganized as this restaurant, had a good laugh at that! I love ambiguity and delicious, extreme tensions… don’t you???

This place was delicious. We stopped in for lunch and it was busy but so worth it. I got the gyro sandwich with fries. The fries had almost a buttery taste and were amazing. I got the gyro with everything. I meant to ask for no tomatoes but it was so delicious I didn’t care. My favorite part was the cucumber sauce. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area around lunch time!
