Office Depot

I am very loyal to the Office Depot on Battleground and have always had the best experience there. However, I was in need of several back to school supplies and was in the area and decided to stop in. Right out in the front was there 25% off sign for teachers. I was excited because I am a teacher and thought I could save some money. I also noticed they had 10 cent composition books so my daughter picked out red and blue. Long story short, I get up to the register and come to find out that the 10 cent notebooks were only the black ones. I couldn’t find anywhere in the flyer or store that specified, but okay. Then the last straw was that the teacher discount ended the previous day. When I told them there was a big sign outside they acted like I was lying or something. It was just a very bad end to my long 10 hour day. I won’t be going back to the New Garden Store that ‘s for sure. Should have known better and stuck with Battleground.

The staff is rude. I only come here to ship things and there’s always a problem with the attitudes of the people. Cheer up bleach blonde, you have a job. The reason I gave them two stars is because they do get my packages out and delivered. Can’t complain there. Guess good workers are hard to come by.

This review is specificially for the folks who handle the computer repairs at this location — outstanding job in helping with a not so minor computer disaster. An accident involving a full glass of an adult beverage and a relatively new HP laptop, resulted in a fried laptop and the total loss of a nice glass of 2009 St Francis Claret.
On a Sunday, 10 days before Christmas, they tested the computer, determined the mother board was fried, but the hard drive was intact, transferred the data to a flash drive — all for $ 30, all in less than 2 hours. Miss Alice is now back on line with a new, better HP and has transferred her old files to the new machine.

I thought this Office Depot was amazing at managing sales acknoledging my presence and asking about help! They were restocking shelves and being busy, but they still offered to help! This is a very well run Office Depot
