I highly recommend this salon for style, expertise and ambiance. I get nothing but compliments on my color and it is worth every penny. Kerri, the owner, is a delight as well as a wonderful stylist. I have very fine flat hair that Kerri gets the maximum volume out of through her skilled combination of cut and color. I not only enjoy my results but my time spent in the salon as well. I am always laughing while there no matter what has transpired during my day.

This is a great place to get your hair cut, colored or just styled. The owner is a true professional and also a lot of fun to talk to. She is energetic and enthusiastic. The location is great downtown and the design of the space is very eclectic and inviting. I would highly recommend Orrell Design!

One of if not the best styling salons in the Triad. Marina has excellent listening and styling skills which server her well when clients come to her for cut and color. She has always taken into account what I wanted as well as what was best for me,

There were times in my massage where I felt like I was flying! Think I’m crazy?! Gooooooo to Adrienne and you’ll know what I’m talking about! 30 min for $ 30?! Cannot beat that price! A lot of Orrel Design’s services are a bit pricey, but this one is not and certainly worth every penny!

I got my second haircut here in one day here. My first haircut was absolutely atrocious, but we will not go into those details. I was driving through downtown just aimlessly driving thinking about how much I hated my hair. I drove by Orrell and thought,” There is no way I can live with this hair cut. Let me just see if they can take me in today.” So I called and was lucky enough to get an appointment that day.
I have very thick, course, curly hair and most people have know idea what to do with it. Murena (I hope this is the right way to spell it) was the lucky one to be chosen to cut my hair, and I must say she did a great job. She took her time to figure out what I wanted and gave me a lot of suggestions on ways to help control my hair. When it was all over I walked out the door one happy girl and can not wait to go back.

I had heard that Kerry, the owner, gives a good haircut. I’ve been crying since I left there. I gave her what I thought were specific directions: I’m having some plastic surgery and need to keep the hair around my ears, and I’m letting the gray grow out and want to do it slowly. Then I took my glasses off so she could cut my hair. When I put them back on, I nearly had a heart attack. She had cut ALL my hair off. There is literally about an inch of hair remaining on my head .Stay away if you like having hair.
PS I did go back to her and she refunded my money. Also, had to go buy a wig because the surgery left scars around my ears that could be seen with her stupid haircut.
