Incredibly rude owners and anti-children. They are attached to the fabulous Yesterday’s Café and is apparently the place to wait to be seated. We have a 2&5 year old, which we make sure behave in stores. We kept them away from the breakables and found a little children’s corner where they could color. My daughter saw a little stuffed reindeer and picked up 2 to play with as she’s obsessed with Rudolph. My son started playing with them as well. All while my husband was right there watching and my parents and myself watching a little farther away. My son was actually being quiet, happy and still… until one of the owners came over and said they couldn’t play with them anymore. So what does a typical 2yr old boy do? Gets upset. The owners then proceed to tell us we are bad parents and our children are badly-behaved all because a 2 and 5 year old can’t wait patiently in a store with children’s toys that they ARENOTALLOWEDTOTOUCH. Yesterday’s is a FAMILY restaurant meaning kids will be present. If you don’t want kids in your store, don’t offer to be a waiting area for the restaurant. Shut, close up and seal the door between your store and Yesterday’s. Besides that, the store itself isn’t that great anyhow. Overpriced crap basically. The other stores in downtown Greensboro, while still expensive, have nicer items.
