The hot and sweet wings were really good! I personally prefer them a little spicier, but the menu did say they were more sweet than hot so I should have known better. Monica was an awesome bartender also, there wasn’t a moment that my beer was empty and she was very charming and easy to talk to. I will definitely be back there soon!

Updated review — I have been here numerous times since posting my 2014 review. Sometimes, we are here for lunch, while other times, we come for happy hour and dinner. There are wide variety of sauces to try along with your wings. It’s always good to stop by on one the special wing nights. Another favorite item to try is the wing pizza. In my first review, I complained about the inattentive server. I am happy to say that I haven’t had a repeat experience. On the last several visits, the servers have been very friendly and efficient.

Nice atmosphere for a sports bar. We sat ourselves and the server waited on us within a very reasonable time frame. We love love love the popcorn at the table to munch on before they take our order. We ordered wings, pepperoni pizza and a cheeseburger. The wings were wonderful. The pizza sauce was very good as well as the cheese. If they would use fresh pizza dough instead of a pie shell, it would make one of the best pizza’s I have eaten. Unfortunately, the pie shell ruins it. The burger was eh. I have had better, just average. We would return here as the service was very good, maybe try some other menu items. We did like the wide selection of items to choose from.

Dino’s is somewhere that we have gone to many times over the years starting with their original location in Latrobe, PA and from the time they opened this Greensburg, PA location we have stopped in more frequently. This is a sports bar where they have many televisions strategically located throughout the bar and lounge areas where they broadcast as many different sports events that they can. We have had a good variety of the menu items and never had a meal that we didn’t care for but find that we are partial to their potato patch fries with cheese and like both their skinny and home style fries but the single item that we always order is their hot wings which are the best around. The parking, tables and booths are all adequate and for someone like myself in a wheelchair I experienced no issues in navigating to find seating even with the roped off ring area in their lounge. I recommend Dino’s if you want decent food at reasonable prices and if you are looking for a good sports bar this is somewhere that you will enjoy.

Ordered the buffalo balls(deep fried meatballs) with BBQ sauce as our app and the philly steak & ranch pizza. Both were delicious! The service was fast and friendly, the food came out quickly and was hot, and above all else the food was tasty! Will definitely return to this place in the future.

Dino’s used to be a great place to grab wings. My last 6 visits over the last 6 months have proved that either management is trying to cut corners, new management or the cooks are cooking way to many wings and let them sit around and reheat them later or not at all. If your a wing nut you know this is something you simply can’t do without getting a poor inferior product to serve your customers. I tried many things to compensate for getting wings that wouldn’t be fresh from telling them I’m willing to wait for fresh wings,… or going when the place was extremely packed, thinking they have to be fresh, I mean how can I be getting something that’s been sitting around, it’s busy let’s give them another try. To my amazement you still get barely warm, hard and nasty tasting wings, if you lucky maybe one or 2 hot ones mixed in all because they simply don’t serve them fresh to order anymore. Last Saturday was the last straw for me and this place, they simply don’t care and frankly neither do I anymore. On my last visit they offer to give me replacements after I had eaten about half, I know we shouldn’t have but I knew the experience wasn’t going to get any better on this day either. I declined as I had done this one other time and they served the same old cold reffried or reheated wings or whatever they are doing. You simply can’t do this. I would rather wait an hour for my wings than get them in 3 minutes than get what they are serving to customers anymore. This place went from almost 5STARS a year ago, to not even deserving 1STAR, the owners really should take a better look at what management is serving the wing customers.

Once you realize the place is only popular because of all the hype, you will see it’s really not that great. First off, their wing sauces are good, yes, but the actual wings are awful. Small, very little meat, and usually hard as a rock. I even had one with a feather in it once and they literally did nothing. Another time I had a basket of fries that halfway through eating them I found a huge black hair on it. Honestly, it’s cooked and I’m the last person to complain but the waitress came over and I mentioned it and she said let me take care of that for you. Now. There are two obvious scenarios that could have happened here. They could have removed the black hair, put 5 more fries on top and brought it back and lied and said they got me new ones and I wouldn’t have cared. Or they could have actually just got me new ones, and either way MAYBE comp the fries but if not who cares because they fixed the problem. What did they decide was the best course of action? The waitress literally brought back the same basket WITHTHEHAIR still in it and said her manager said that I ate too many of the fries for him to fix or pay for them. If they are that cheap about fries then who knows how they cut corners on the kitchen. I have since made sure they will NEVER receive my business or anyone I know. We used to order their wings every weekend for our steeler parties but that is no more. Go somewhere else. Literally anywhere else for the game or to just eat.

We have been to Dino’s twice. The second time it was on a Friday night during Christmas shopping season, let’s just say it was PACKED. We got there at about almost 8:00PM and since it was just the two of us, we were able to be seated right away but it was tight quarters. I liked the food which is typically sports bar type food. I had the gyro and fried mushrooms and my hubby had the wings. The wings were on the bigger side which my hubby didn’t care for but he liked the Cajun sauce that they offered. Overall if you’re looking for sports bar type food in the area, I would recommend Dino’s.

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday in September and while service was ok(our waitress was about as attentive as a goldfish), the food(which used to be good in the many times I’ve been there) is going downhill in a hurry. If you order wings you would think that the sauce would actually be ON the wing and not the wings swimming afloat a modicum of sauce that resides in the nether region below said wings, right? Knowing that their idea of «extra sauce» means a thimblefull more than the usual teaspoon, I asked again for sauce(garlic parmesan) and was brought a condiment cup of melted margarine and a shaker of parmesan cheese and left to my own devices. Dino’s — you used to be good, what happened? Needless to say, I won’t be coming back.

If you go to a place called a sports lounge and you expect anything fancy or gourmet, you’re going to be pretty disappointed. However, if you go for wings, especially on Wing Night, you’ll have a great time. On Mondays and Tuesdays, wings are 50 cents each(ordered in multiples of five, as long as you order something else– beer counts). They cook their wings perfectly and have a good variety of sauces. I’m partial to sweet n hot, but hear the barbecue and Cajun are quite good too. I’ve had a few other bar food items– jalapeño poppers, that sort of thing– and everything has been exactly what you’d expect. They have a good variety of beer: nothing super fancy, but still a nice selection, and reasonably priced. Plus, FREE popcorn that’s reminiscent of movie theater popcorn. Sure, it’s a little loud, and there’s TVs everywhere, and just about everything is fried, but sometimes, that’s what you’re looking for, and then Dino’s is the right place.

Stopped here before hitting Steeler Training Camp. We enjoyed wings and chippers. We tryed the a variety of flavors like tradtional hot, Slicker and Sweet & Hot. S&H were my favorite, but all were good. The buffalo burger was also enjoyed. I ordered the wings extra crispy and they were cooked perfectly. The chippers needed some seasoning though. They were cooked well, but lacked flavor. They were saved by using the blue cheese with the wings as a dipper. All was well. Service was friendly and efficient. A stop by is well deserved.

Staple of the western PA wing tour. Good sports bar that had expanded from the Latrobe building. Many Many Tvs are on the wall and if you are trying to find a sporting event to watch, you will find one here. You can’t go wrong with any of their bar food. Wings are awesome. Sandwhiches are large and tasty. The hidden item that you need to get is the Wing Pizza.

Average at best, was never offered a refill, ordered the charbroiled chicken and it came out way too fast to have been charbroiled, it seemed more like it was microwaved or boiled. The food was barely warm.

I’m not a big fried food kind of person but I have to hand it to Dino’s for frying things up «right». The sampler appetizer included chicken wings, french fries, fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, and onion rings. Total heaping pile of sports bar bliss. Perfect for 2 to 3 folks to share as a meal. I especially enjoyed the naked wings. Note to those trying to be healthy at Dino’s — good luck. The spinach salad is topped with a whole chicken breast, french fries and literally what appeared to be a pack of bacon. I imagine they could make alterations. Popcorn comes out to the table complimentary and the environment is as stereotypically«manly» as it gets. Think TVs on every wall, waitresses in short shorts and a menu that is heavy on meats and fried anything.

My stop in here was just to grab a couple beers while watching some football and catching up with my significant other. It got the job done for that, but isn’t a place I would go out of the way to go back to. We got in around 9:30 on a Saturday night, and were able to grab a couple seats at the bar, but it was pretty full. The bartender came to take our order and brought out some popcorn. It was just standard popcorn, but it was nice to have something to munch on with our beers since we weren’t hungry enough to want to actually order any food. We asked for a beer list, but apparently they don’t have them, nor do they have a board or anything that can be consulted about the options. We were just told to try to look at the taps on the other side of the bar to figure it out. After we got all of the selections deciphered, we were very disappointed in the selections. There was nothing special at all in the dozen and a half options on tap. It looks like they have quite a few bottle options, but after having to asking numerous times about the ones on draft, I wasn’t going to even try to figure out what they had in the fridge. We settled for the only few options that weren’t just light domestics, although they were still just your everyday mass produced stuff. I don’t know a lot about this area, but there has to be some decent local craft beers coming from somewhere around there that they can offer their customers. The bartender was also pretty disappointing that night. Starting with being no help when we asked what they had on tap, that trend pretty much continued. Unless she was filling up somebody’s glass after they emptied it, she was just in the corner of the bar talking to her group of friends who was there the entire time. We got the bare minimum service that we needed to get a couple drinks, but that was the extent of it. This did looked like a good place to come get some tasty fried food, and the menu had plenty of options that aren’t going to show up on a weight watchers plan anytime soon. It’s also a great place to come watch some sports. They have TVs all over, and it’s definitely a sports themed restaurant. They have a really neat electronic stock ticker type thing setup in the bar area that scrolls across sports scores, news, and even betting lines, but unfortunately a decent chunk of the screen was out so it was kind of difficult to read. If you are looking for some bar food and sports, this place will probably satisfy your cravings. If you prefer to drink some good beers and have good service while doing so, this probably shouldn’t be very high on your list.

A sports bar scene that has lots of TVs and cheap décor. We got seated pretty quickly but the server took about 5 min to get our drink order. They bring you complimentary popcorn, and I thought«I like to eat popcorn at the movies not before my dinner.» The food came out very quickly(great right). No. Fries were sub-par but the wings were almost warm and the sauce was overwhelming. They basically tasted like they were sitting underneath heat lamps for an hour until we ordered them. Not sure what to recommend now. Very disappointed in the service and the food. It didn’t help that the server came back once and just forgot about us for 20 min. We asked for the check and the hostess brought it(very odd). I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

On returning to Dino’s shortly after writing my previous review(based on experiences from some time ago), I had a completely different experience. As I contemplate what I’m going order, several people at my table proceed to tell me that the wings have been not so great here in recent years. In fact, it has made some mutual friends of ours quite sick a number of times. I laughed it off, thinking I have some kind of iron stomach, and get the classic hot wings that I had my heart set on. Everyone else orders something else on the menu. I thought they were okay, but definitely not as crisp and tasty as I remembered. After being home for about half an hour, my digestive system was figuratively screaming at me. I spent most of the rest of my evening in the bathroom. And that was no fun at all. Rule number one for any restaurant? DON’T MAKEFOODTHATMAKESPEOPLESICK. I would take off all the stars, but the service was speedy. My death-dealing chicken wings were delivered to me in record time. -.-

A pile of chips with cheese whiz, and ½ a chicken tender cut up constitutes a chicken nacho platter for $ 10??? Cold wings(sauce was tasty though)?? $ 10 for a salad that fits in a standard salad bowl with limp lettuce? Waitress doesn’t know the menu? Buck up Dino’s you are about to lose a very consistent patron to your recent fall from grace…
