I like Dunkin Donuts, but today’s experience at the one on Main made me realize that quality really depends on location. I ordered 4 egg or cream cheese sandwiches. 3 out of the 4 had hair in it. They weren’t even the same types of hair, one was black and 2 were light brown. Now, I don’t expect amazing quality at any fast food place, and hair happens, but the fact that the majority had hair and that they were from different people means that this franchise has an issue with cleanliness. Now as far as the 1 that didn’t have hair in it, it was rubbery, but who cares, at least it didn’t have hair in it. This was the first and last time I plan on going to this location.

Apparently America Runs on Dunkin’, but I’ve never lived in a state with Dunkin’ Donuts before, so this morning was my first time giving them a shot. I’m currently eating a chocolate cake doughnut, and it’s pretty delicious– I think I may have had better mom-and-pop doughnuts, but it’s definitely better than the grocery store variety and admittedly quite a bit better than Krispy Kreme. I’m also currently drinking a black coffee; I’m normally an espresso drink girl, but this coffee is good and blows Starbucks’ regular black coffee out of the water. This location is not remotely fancy, but it looks like there’s other food options, WiFi, and a drive-through. Plus, it’s only $ 4 for two doughnuts and a coffee, which is an awesome deal. I could see myself being a regular.
