I’m giving a four but I’d say more like a 3 ½… Great new place that has some panache to it… i had the chicken asiago and it was without a doubt a pretty creative dish… Had cinnamon ice cream on it and pumpkin risotto and then some green beans and a salad on top, so they definitely had guts putting all of that together… And being honest, it worked! Thing that didn’t work was the bland piece of fried chicken in the dish… No taste of asiago at all. It got lost and it really should be the star of the show… everything else had flavor galore, but the chicken had none. I’m sure they would tell me that they didn’t want to get too many flavors in the dish, but i would defend by saying the main ingredients should shine(asiago and chicken) and neither one of them did… It was the small dollop of cinnamon ice cream that shined On that dish. On the other hand, the pizza looks amazing, and i will definitely be getting that next time round… Also my boy got the spaghetti and his meat ball was the size of my fist… i had a bite and it was amazing… Great flavor and moist. Overall, i really liked the place and so did my family… i like the creativity in the restaurant itself and also in the dishes… i would just say they’d want to keep an eye on making the dish great… not JUST the creativity of it. Great potential, though!

This place just showed my family and I the upmost lack of professionalism. Two weeks prior to this evening, we made reservations here to celebrate my mom’s 65th birthday. Why here? Because it USED to be our favorite restaurant in the area. We had eight people in our party tonight. We all got ready, bought wine to take, drove the 25 minutes, and CLOSED! That’s right. Closed. No call. No notice. No sign on the door. Nothing. Just locked. Here we were, standing in the cold with nowhere else to go. There was nowhere else we wanted to go. We ended up at Chili’s nearby. Lupi and Leo’s are going to tell us it was because of the snow we received 24 hours prior and that’s a fine excuse(roads were fine by the way). But if that’s the case, wouldn’t a great idea be to call all the people that had reservations to tell them ohhh I don’t know, «Hey we’re sorry but we had to close so don’t get all ready and drive out here»? Did they do that? Nope. Nothing. So, with that all said, they lost eight of their biggest fans. I wish this restaurant the best of luck in the future and with their customer relations, they just might need it.

This little eatery is the best kept secret in Greensburg. I have tried everything they offer and have yet to be dissapointed.

Went for lunch. It’s in an odd location and parking can be a problem. Seated and served quickly. I ordered the Ahi Tuna and it was amazing! I’d go back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I both had the shrimp and grits. I thought it was good, my husband on the other hand was not impressed. For an appetizer we had the ahi tuna lettuce wraps. I would totally get them again! The service on the other hand was terrible. Our server only had one other table. She did not tell us about the specials. I didn’t even know they had specials until I heard a different server tell his table. I was extremely disappointed. She didn’t check on us until our meal was finished.

We were returning from some last minute Christmas shopping and decided to turn to Unilocal for some advice for lunch. This place popped up and my wife and I wanted to give it a try. Let me say that I am forever spoiled and never want to eat anywhere else again. The bean and bacon soup was superb, the tomato soup was the best, the ahi tuna wraps… words just cannot describe the deliciousness that this place serves up. The staff is the icing on the cake… super friendly, honest, and helpful! We just wish we didn’t live in Savannah now, because this would be our regular place!

Amazing place to eat. This was my second time here(I visit the area occasionally). The food is TOO good. White bean & bacon soup. Beef brisket nachos, and the incredible homemade pasta with delicious sauce and giant scrumptious mega meatball. LOL. So full. No room for dessert. :(

Pumpkin space risotto! Enough said! The food was delicious, and the service was really good. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. Found a new favorite spot.

The new fall menu is out! The Ahi Tuna Lettuce Wraps were amazing! The craving for this specialty has been ignited! The owner, Rob, came during a very busy lunch hour to talk and ask how everything was. The staff was so friendly and courteous! Looking forward to our next meal!

Wow! We love this place! It’s small, but you can sit around and drink whatever you brought to drink while you’re waiting! It’s a BYOB, which is awesome! I am in love with the shrimp and grits! The menu is very creative. They have great pizzas and appetizers. My husband and I eat out a lot and this is one of our all-time favorites. You’ll love the dessert menu too. We have never been disappointed here. Enjoy!

I’m like a groupie for this place! I love the sandwiches, the Asian Pork pizza is outstanding, pecan pie bread pudding, Elvis cake. I’ve never had a bad meal here. I love the creative menu!

Friday night and we get seated right away. The restaurant is BYOB, it’s $ 2.00 fee to open a beer. The wine uncorking fee is more. Their are four waitress’s standing near by with apparently nothing to do. The restaurant is brightly decorated and the blinds do a great job filtering out the bright summer sun. Odd that there was no music playing. Which drew my attention to the sounds from the dishwasher The menu featured a wide array of interesting dishes. pizzas look really good. The 6 oz veal picatta with smashed potatoes and asparagus is a great looking dish, It was pretty tasty. I wish my waitress would have stopped back during the meal. It’s a little hard to cut veal with a butter knife. You should have heard the sound of the knife hitting the plate when it slipped from my hand. Price $ 18.00. $ 13.00 for a chicken sandwich and curly fries. My wife was not happy about the bill. But I’m a fan!

Had lunch here Saturday. Service was outstanding. I had the BCM, others had ribeye steak sandwich and polish cannon. All were generous in size and very tasty. They offer some very unique flavor combinations. I wish the entrees were available all day(only lunch options until 3 pm). Dessert choices were limited to a few options, but again the choices offered unique flavor profiles and everything was special and delicious. Looking forward to my next visit.

Came here tonight for the first time… Very friendly and great food. They could use more parking area though Dennys next door is closed for renovations and still don’t allow patrons here at Lupi and Leos to park in their lot. Dennys actually called here to tell the customers if they were parked over there. they were getting ready to call police and have us towed. HOWFRIGGINNEIGHBORLY. I will come back to Lupi and Leos for sure… but I will never Patronize Dennys ever again!

Visited for lunch during the week. I had an open faced chicken marsala sandwich with curly fries. The chicken was pulled which I thought was different on top of garlic toast with a very generous amount of mushrooms and onions and a light marsala sauce. The portion was so large I fully expected half the size for that price. My pint sized companion had a slice of pizza and it kept him happy. It was a heated up slice which is what I expected for that price. I bet the freshly cooked pizzas are amazing. The service was warm and friendly without hovering. I could have used a sharper knife than what I received. I will definitely be back soon with an adult to try the grilled duck or poached pear salad and enjoy bacon wrapped dates for an appetizer. BYOB w $ 3 corkage fee. I would probably leave the kids at home if your going for dinner. This is a must try restaurant in Greensburg

This place is a must try! Awesome food, nice atmosphere and great service! Shrimp and Grits was absolutely fantastic, homemade everything! The desert is all homemade and the tray has a nice selection. Prices are good for the quality and caliber of food$$ Must try for foodies!

Based on other reviews about how good this place was, we went here for lunch. Just as others said, the exterior was not great, after all it was previously a carpet warehouse. We should have known when we had trouble opening the front door due to the pavement heaving up in front of the door. I guess freeze and thaw had taken it’s toll. Once inside we were shown to a double booth near the back of the restaurant which was good because the other available seating was by the front door where all the cold air would hit you. The décor was fun, colorful and interesting. The menu was also interesting, too bad the actual food was not up to the same. We ordered the white chicken chili as an appetizer to share. It was not what we expected. More like a gloppy, gluey soup that seemed like it was made from canned cheese soup with some pinto beans and chicken breast thrown in and topped with a few flecks of parsley. Served with a chewy Pillsbury-esque bread stick, we were pretty sure we had a two day supply of sodium in that bowl alone. Then came the first sandwich we chose to share, a gyro. Obviously the person who said it was the the best gyro they ever had has never had one from the Ligonier Country Market, or the Westmoreland County Fair or even the Derry Ag Fair, for that matter. This one was one of the worst gyros we ever tasted. Our last hope was pinned on the fish sandwich with fries. Well the curly fries were pretty good and my husband liked the cole slaw. But the fish was kind of weird textured and was just OK. Overall, it was overpriced for the quality of the food served. We will not go back and advise others to not waste their money eating here.

I live in the DC area and while visiting my daughter yesterday we stopped in for lunch. this place was amazing! From the service to the food it was top notch! Don’t let the outside fool you. the renovated carpet store holds a bounty of culinary delights on the inside! Don’t leave without trying the Chicken chili. It’s the stuff of dreams!

Really a good restaurant for Greensburg. I’ve been there twice and it is a breath of fresh air for the area. In a town where every restaurant is the same, this place is a welcome break. The menu changes seasonally and they also use fresh pasta from a local provider in Irwin. The menu has unique twists on some classic dishes and is not at all plain, boring, or run of the mill like most other places in the area. The place might not look like much from the outside… hey it was an old carpet store, but inside it is very inviting and filled with friendly people and good food.

The outside is as plain and simple and the inside is luscious, hip and cleverly decorated. Make a reservation if you’re coming on the weekend for sure! We really enjoyed the food and I must say, they have the most creative an unusual menu I’ve seen around(grilled ribeye salad, Asian pork pizza, fall spiced baked Brie bowl, crispy duck confit leg, shrimp & grits) they have plenty of vegetarian offerings and my gluten-free friend was tickled to have lots of choices. You’ll be pleased whether you’re up for an entrée, salad, sandwich or appetizer. The service was excellent, friendly and well-paced. The coffee was good and we are definitely coming back to try the lunch menu and the white chicken chili. Dessert: epic. I had the banana cake with chocolate ganache, peanut butter icing and candied bacon. I said it: bacon.
