This is a good small town place for bar food. While in town visiting family over the 4th, we went there for dinner on a Saturday early evening. It’s a small place, but they aren’t your typical small town bar in that they’re trying-between drink specials that aren’t too gimmicky($ 416 oz. Blue Moon draft special with an actual ripe orange peel on the rim of the glass) and friendly staff who are in good moods, as well as a menu that has pretty much any type of appetizer, sandwich, burger, wings you can imagine. Much of the food is fried, but isn’t that what bar food is all about? Good curly and regular fries, buffalo chicken sandwich(mild described as tangy), wings and a fish sandwich were hits, as were the fried pickles for an appetizer. If you’re ever in Greenup or traveling on I-70 and want to stop in for a good, quick bite to eat, I recommend this place for sure.

Went for food and to check it out after suggestion from the locals. I got wings, they were cooked perfectly and the sauces were on point. Overall the bar was very clean and had a normal sports bar décor. Employees were very nice and we had no issues. It is a large place with a big main bar room, adjacent dining overflow room with a small casino arcade and some off track betting. There is a back room with two pool tables and a big projector. Behind that is the patio that is a decent size and would be pretty cool during the summer time. Greenup is a small town so not sure if it ever gets that busy but could easily hold a couple hundred people. Really cool bar for such a small town.

The new restaurant is a nice addition to downtown Greenup, IL. I recently went with my boyfriend & his family to check it out. The food was good & the décor was visually stimulating. There were several nice neon lights & televisions mounted around the room. The server that was tending to our table didn’t seem to be very alert to keep the glasses full but she was friendly. It was an overall positive dining experience so we’ll certainly go again & recommend this restaurant to other people.

New bar and grill in downtown Greenup. The owner runs a couple other successful bars. He really knows how to run a business. I would suggest they not allow children, but I don’t know if that’s even possible since it is a restaurant. Also the seating is pretty scarce. All in all, good atmosphere, good bar food, and nice bartenders.
