Great doughnuts with a nice local feel, they’re always busy. But so is B’s BBQ. You have to wait for greatness sometimes. Seriously it’s kid friendly and delicious. Give it a shot, I’ve heard mornings are great times with shorter waits.

Just had my first Duck Donut, and I have to say, it was good, maybe even great, but not life changing. The warmness of the donut complimented the sticky glaze, but I don’t think I would wait in that long line again for one. It’s better than Krispy Kreme by a long run but overall the donut was not all that it’s cracked up to be. Cute place, though. I like how you get to see the donuts being made, and how they sell merchandise.

I didn’t understand the hype until I had them myself. These donuts are ridiculously good. And there are so many! The manager and everyone else there is always really friendly, even when they’re busy, and they’re happy to help you figure out what you want. French toast has been my fave so far, but I honestly haven’t had one I didn’t like. My non-profit group had Duck Donuts do a large order for a recent event and they did an awesome job. Everything came out perfect, warm, and exactly like we asked for.

While I have nothing against Krispy Kreme, I grew up on Gourdough’s donuts. In other words I need more than a simple glaze on my donut. Duck Donuts is the closest I’ve found to Austin-type donuts. I love the variety of toppings that Duck Donuts offers. You can see the creativity in their selection. Simple glazed donut is nice, but different toppings from bacon, coconut, peanut butter and more is way better! Don’t be simple now, be different!

maybe the expectation was too high. just simple donuts with many frosting choices. one basic dough mix with two conveyers. try 6 of them yet none of them out the ordinary donut hut frequent along the shores in Florida. Due to the fast service this spot retains two star. all employees are busy and barely catching up the orders so do not expect any southern hospitalities.

Okay I have tried them after hearing good things about this place. They are good but honestly I am not impressed. They use fresh dough but same dough mix for all donuts. Staffs in line dip them with a variety of base and frosting per request. Line was long but service was rather quick. No wifi is available in the store. it cost us $ 6.75 for half dozen. Fresh coffee was good and went well with warm donuts.

I have had duck donuts on two occasions. I am not a fan of the donuts or the wait to get them. I prefer krispy kreme by a long shot. And they are very overpriced!

Awesome donuts! They are all very tasty, however the only thing that I did not like was how heavy they are. After eating almost a whole donut I was stuffed! I go as often as I can!

Really good donuts, however very expensive! I still am a big fan of Krispy Kreme. Just depends what you’re in the mood for. These are more dense and cake like, Krispy Kreme more airy. Like comparing apples & oranges. Again good, but I’m not overly excited either.

Not impressed. In fact, VERY disappointed. Line out the door, so I had high hopes. Waited 20 minutes to order, only to find they only have cake donuts. After another 10 minutes in line I finally got them. Cake donuts should be dense and cakey. These are full of air and so you feel like you get ½ donut for almost $ 1.30 each (Inc. tax). They are VERY greasy and leave a greasy film in your mouth. They are definitely better while warm (only reason they get 2 stars). Several hours later on the counter top they were cold and the heavy, congealed grease made you feel like you were eating a grease-filled sponge. My kids would not even eat them. We threw them away, a waste of about $ 10. Not worth the price and certainly not worth the wait. Give me a Krispy Kreme any day of the week. I would not take another dozen of these, even if they were free. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Words cannot express how good these donuts are. The maple bacon is so so good. Hot, fresh and made to order. Around $ 13 per dozen. By far our favorite sweet treat place to go. Looking forward to trying some of their coffee. So glad they brought one to our town.

Awesome, hot, made to order donuts with a huge variety of toppings. Quick, courteous service. Definitely a stop when shopping over in Greenville. Hot Common Sugar is my favorite, but there are too many options to name. Maple Bacon, French Toast, Zebra were among our favorite ones as well.
The texture is not too dense, but it is more cake like than you may be used too with another chain donut outlet near by. These are a wonderful option for those who do not desire syrupy sweet puffs of air only. These donuts are more substantial and one fills you up, or at least it did us. Like the fact that you can buy a half dozen as well.
We will definitely be back often! :-)
