So I didn’t think I could get any more pissed off about my hair, but boy was I wrong. After washing my hair, I noticed the following:
The cut is uneven by at least ½″. The left side has maybe 4 layers while the right side only has 2 that are very distinct from each other, like steps, plus one stray chunk that’s longer than the rest. The ends are blocky rather than feathering to the tip.
Highlights are now officially brassy. Double pissed because I didn’t even want regular highlights in the first place and the color is wayyy off from what we discussed.
Whatever color was there before is now gone. He first advised against using shampoos with sulfate because it strips away the color, then suggested I do use them in order to help bring out the color in my case. Welllll that didn’t work and now I’m only left with the brassy highlights. I knew the color would eventually fade, but after one wash?
