In town for a wedding. We had planned to just attend the wedding and get back on the road to head home. But we were enjoying family and friends and before we realized it, it has gotten really late. So this check in was literally on the spot. The hotel less than 4yrs old, nicely priced. Very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. The beds were relatively comfortable, again the rooms were well kept and clean. Bathrooms were clean as well. They have 3 size rooms, King, Double and a suite. The king size is kinda tight, double is a little larger. I never saw the suite but I’m sure it’s nicely sized. My sis in law had a king, we got a double again nice size, 2 beds and a nice window seat. Each room has a refrigerator, microwave and a large flat screen. I noticed they had a laundry facility for guests on site which it’s pretty convenient. They offer breakfast which is also a plus, bagels, muffins, cereal, waffles fruit yogurt, juice, and coffee. The breakfast is included at no additional charge. I’d def stay again. Price was fair and they a offered military discount.

Clean and fairly equipped for the price, breakfast was acceptable but without fruit. Staff was courteous and professional.

I stayed here for a week for a recent business trip. I paid less than $ 60 a night and was quite happy with my visit. The staff was nice, the room was clean and the free breakfast was ok. The breakfast was mostly continental with a make your own waffle option. The beds were comfortable and I had a good night sleep each night .I would definitely stay again .My only complaint would be the wi-fi. It was quite slow and could not accommodate a fully booked hotel.

We stayed here for two weeks while our son was at Vidant Medical Center. The price was great for the extended stay, and the overall experience was wonderful. Room was cleaned daily, and the bed slept well when we did stay the night. The Housekeepers and Front desk staff were friendly and continually asked us how our son was doing. If I ever need to stay in Greenville again, this is where I will be.

We had a cockroach in our room! Gross. We asked to switch rooms and they gave us a new one, but didn’t offer to give us a discount or anything. We tried to ignore the bug thing at first — we saw it in the room but couldn’t get it, but the next time we saw it, it was in one of the beds. Ew! Also, they were having key issues and not just with us. We noticed multiple people having to come back multiple times in a row to fix room key issues. Not super impressed.

Very clean and comfortable. Rooms are a bit small, reason for 4 stars, but other than that everything was great.

Being that I paid $ 60 a night for a «suite», I was surprised at the good experience I had here. Due to a death in my family, I had to search for a spot to stay in Greenville, NC on short notice. This was the first spot that popped up when I did a hotel search online. Since Greenville is my «2nd hometown,» I pretty much knew that the area around the hotel, to include the hotel itself, was fairly new and safe. I judge hotels based on my experiences with checking in/out, room service, cleanliness and parking. The Microtel Inn in Greenville did well in all categories, based on my experience there. Microtel Inn has a nice sized parking lot, so parking was no issue. The front desk clerk was VERY courteous and helpful. She displayed the friendly southern hospitality that I have come to experience when in North Carolina. I encountered no «ghetto» attitudes with any of the staff at Microtel. Check in was a breeze. Room service was quick and efficient. I found the hotel to be very clean and well maintained. No pests. And checking out basically took less than one minute. For those of you who are visiting Greenville for whatever reason(an ECU game, Vidant Medical Center, family reasons, etc) and need a place to stay on short notice, I would recommend Microtel Inn and Suites. You will get a lot of bang for your buck with this hotel.

Stayed here for a week, overall I was pleased. I’ve stayed in far worse places so I don’t complain. Clean rooms, decent coffee and comfortable beds. Some of the other reviews noted the size of the rooms being small but I thought that’s why it’s called a microtel and not maxotel lol. My only complaint with the room was lack of at least a fridge which was forgivable since there’s a jimmy johns literally in the parking lot and the apparent high speed internet. If you had any plans to catch up on some of your favorite shows on hulu or netflix or any other streaming service, forget it! I could barely load my homepage. I knew better than to expect blazing speeds but come on, it’s 2014! I’ve had faster internet at truck stop motels! All in not a bad place. I came here on business so I can’t say anything in the cost per night but if you do come you won’t be mad at it if you can get past the internet issue.
