I’ve been to pf changs before many times. But for the first time I’m taking time write about this place, if you like Asian food this is a must visit. I like all their items especially chicken lettuce wraps is my personal favorite and love their chicken fried rice. Recently I tried their coconut cooler and it’s amazing too.

Tuna is excellent at this location. I got take out after my flight in to Greenville. The Mongolian beef was not made to PF Chang’s specs. The beef pieces should be no larger than a packet of sugar and just slightly thicker. The beef was chunky… PF Chang’s is a go to for me on the road for a quality meal. Mongolian beef aside, a good meal overall. Go with something more traditional and you’ll be fine.

It’s just glorified Chinese food. The atmosphere is nice and the wait staff is fast and friendly. Nice drink selection and the quinoa is fantastic. But when you look at it for what it really is… It’s not much different than your local Chinese pickup. I think PF Chang’s was designed for people who wanted Chinese food but didn’t want to feel like they were still in college. My only real complaint is the sushi. It sucks. You can tell it was designed by PF Chang’s corporate to be easily made by someone in their early 20’s who is just trying to pay for college. It tastes manufactured. In conclusion, if you want to eat Chinese food, but also wear nice clothing at the same time, then PF Chang’s is your restaurant!

I like PF Chang’s. My wife and kids like PF Chang’s, so where the restaurant has been heading, and where it was yesterday during lunch, I’m at a loss. As per usual, their sweet tea was fine, as were the cola products. The problem… three of the four of us waited on refills… and waited, more than once. If the restaurant was really busy, I wouldn’t even give this another thought, but it wasn’t busy at all. My two favorite historically go-to entrees at PF Chang which have never returned to the menu(Chengwa Lamb, and something else Lamb) since I started ordering them are gone. So, I’ve gone with either Dan Dan Noodles or Singapore Street Noodles generally in the past, but on this trip I decided to go with Korean Chicken BBQ stir-fry. The flavour of the meal was fabulous, but their were other problems. The portion of chicken was scant. The chicken itself was dry and cooked nearly to death. The rice was either dry, or old, or both. The vegetables on the order were also just wrong… very scant, very unpleasant. The children and my wife seemed satisfied with their orders, though. Additionally, the spring roll had an «old grease» kind of flavour, which I suppose was a saving grace of sorts as it covered the flavour of the really plentiful mushrooms(I don’t like mushrooms, didn’t remember mushrooms being an ingredient in these items, took a big bite, didn’t taste them due to the grease flavor, then saw them. Ugh. I’m going to hope that this was just an aberration, that for some reason, catching PF Chang’s on a Sunday before the big church service crowd comes in(our own service was early that day) is a problem service time, and that this was an aberration and not a reflection of their new normal.

Terrible take out… skimpy entrees and dried out rice Would recommend going in for dining or not at all

My friend loves Chinese food so he brought me here for my bday after I told him I love PF Chang’s. Love the atmosphere. And he loved the food, became a fan and was happy I took him! Of course, this is PF Chang’s !!! A little pricier — Unfortunately they don’t have the lunch specials anymore? :(

I’m really not a huge fan of this place. However, they almost always have Chilean Sea Bass and they almost always will cook it to my liking — just a minor little change is all it takes to cook it my way! Though I really wish they could get me some melting butter for a change! Plenty of parking — typical staff — perhaps a bit better then most — and pricing is ok, but still a bit high!

We love PF Chang’s. I have to agree with one of the reviews that the staff is inconsistent. We actually hesitated to go because of our experience with the waiter the last time. Then we thought let’s try it again and our waiter was beyond great. It should be at that level of service at all times.

Never disappointed with PF Chang’s. Granted it’s totally ‘Americanized’ Chinese food but it is always consistently well prepared and I haven’t had a bad meal yet! My only complaint with this particular restaurant is that I find the staff to be inconsistent. Top notch one day, subpar the next.

Suprised the LW today and showed up at her work to take her out for lunch. To my suprise she had me take her to this PF Chang which I had heard of but never thought to go for lunch. No I have never been any other time either. Just wasn’t on my got to go there list. But we did and boy was it good. The atmosphere is laid back and the service is fast, friendly, and engaging. I had a very nice time in there and was full to boot. The lettuce wraps were great, I have never heard of a lettuce warp before today. The LW was on the mark again. The Rasman says if you want a treat go to PF Changs.

Probably the worst PF Chang’s food wise that I have been. Food was not very good, no spicy to it and took a long time.

This place stays BUSY! Get a reservation if you go on Friday night for sure. We were a party of seven and they had our table ready about two mins after arrival since we had a reservation, although the line was well out the door. I like the food here but it really is about service and environment here. The food is definitely better than the usual Chinese restaurant fare, and the service is great, but I really want exceptional food if I’m paying the elevated prices they charge here. There are a few standouts here however, like the«Beef Á la Sichuan» and the spicy scallops. I like the flavors here and i’m sure you will to. Enjoy!

The food was good but it, to me, is a bit over-priced as far as asian fare goes. If you like this style food– Try Lieus or in Spartanburg– Thai Taste is our favorite.

Normally I sit in the restaurant and they almost always screw up my order a little. Special requests seem a little hard for them on that side. But this time I ate in the bar and got exactly what I ordered and how I ordered it. Probably because bartenders always have special orders for drinks. Plus the bar staff was very friendly and attentive. All this time I’ve been going to the wrong side. Folks, head for the bar, these folks are GREAT!

1 Star is to many. Worst P.F. Changs experience ever. Highlights of trip include: Bug in drink(had to get up and flag down server) — still ended up costing $ 6.50 for a flat Gin and Tonic Poorly cooked food. Lettuce wraps included all broken lettuce We received no sauce with them. After asking we received mustard and chili sauce. We received no soy sauce, no vinegar. Egg drop soup tasted like mix of hot and sour and egg drop(and yes I know the difference between traditional egg drop and fast food egg drop) Meat tastes like cheap Chinese fast food chicken. The shrimp tasted even worse. Both of them overcooked and mushy. After we got home, we noticed the server combined our takeout food in to one box. Luckily, we like each others germs. What happened to fresh rice with takeout? What happened to service? Save yourself and go to Lieu’s or if you are really craving Changs, get a frozen entrée it tastes the same.

Lieu’s and P.F. Chang’s in one week. Chinese is one of my least favorite cuisines — I’m a much bigger fan of Thai and Vietnamese when it comes to Asian cooking. I will preface my review with that disclaimer. Due to some outings planned by friends, I found myself at P.F. Chang’s this past Saturday night and Lieu’s on Tuesday night. So I decided to compare them and post the review to each of their Unilocal pages. P.F. Chang’s was incredibly busy the night I dined there. We had a 5:30 reservation, and when we left at 7:30 they still had a two hour wait. In spite of this, our service was excellent. Our server was absolutely on the ball, and when he was not available there was always someone else stopping by to deliver food or check on us. When the bill was calculated incorrectly for my friends, the manager came out to personally explain to them what happened and to present a corrected bill. Even though the restaurant was very crowded, we managed to feel cozy tucked away in our elevated booth against the wall. But I don’t think I would have enjoyed sitting at one of the tables in the middle of the floor. As for the food, it was very good. Not exceptional — but a very solid tasty meal. I enjoyed a coconut curry vegetarian dish, and my husband enjoyed wok-seared beef. We started with the understandably popular lettuce wraps and finished with a small chocolate peanut butter dessert. The prices were very reasonable — our meal and 2 beers came to $ 45 before tip(our dessert was comped due to a birthday). All in all, a very nice experience. As for Lieu’s, I want to like it because it is local, and 99% of the time I prefer local to chain. Tuesday night Lieu’s was very empty. We had a large table in the corner all to ourselves. Our server did a great job and made sure all the people in our party of 7 received their food at the same time. I started with a mojito and an order of spring rolls. There was no muddled mint in the mojito! I asked about it and the server said for some reason they choose to make it that way. My spring rolls came with two sauces. I would have appreciated if our server had explained that one was an extremely spicy mustard. I took a large dip of it and my sinuses proceeded to catch fire and empty out. During the handful of times I have been at Lieu’s, I find their sauces to be on the sweeter side. That is one of my primary complaints with Americanized Chinese food. This night I had pan fried noodles with chicken. The noodles are a little strange — they are very crispy and you need to mash them down into the sauce. But the end result was still pretty good — just a little sweeter than I might have liked. The portion was also quite large — more than I could finish — which is unusual for me. The interior of Lieu’s is looking a bit worn. After many years of faithfully serving Greenville’s masses, I think they could use an update. With the increased competition coming to Woodruff Road, this may be even more important. So there you have it — three stars to Lieu’s and four to P.F. Chang’s. For those who enjoy an American take on Chinese food, you can have a good meal at either one.
