Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. All what you would want in a hangout place after work. In Greenville no less! They have an excellent selection of bottle and draft beer, and will try to order different kinds for you if enough people ask for specific brews. Great stuff, all local!

I was in the area for work and wanted a beer with dinner. I found this place on Unilocal,and I’m glad I did. 19 beers on tap. The chicken fried bacon with maple syrup was as good as it sounds. The Rose burger with pastrami and special sauce was one of the best burgers I’ve had in quite a while. Onion rings, great. Fried pickles, delicious. TX pig in a bun, perfect. I will definitely come back here if I’m in the area again.

Did lunch here on Christmas Eve because the restaurant across the street was closed. My gf and I ordered the fried pickles ($ 5.99) basic burger w/fries ($ 7.99)and pot roast sandwich w/fries (7.49).
Pickles: Very salty
Basic burger: patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato. This sandwich was huge, juicy and DELICIOUS!
Pot Roast sandwich: I thought this would come with gravy as it’s pot roast. But it doesn’t which was disappointing, so I ordered a side of barbeque sauce. The meat needed some additional seasonings as it was a little bland. Everything is prepared to order… SCORE! :-) Our waitress Crystal was so helpful and attentive. One of the owner’s came to ask us how our experience was which we loved.
The menu is simple bar/diner food with appetizers and a full bar. This is a wonderful place for a quick bite for good food.

Basic burger was incredible — the meat was seasoned just right. The pot roast sandwich was very good too! Our kids recommended those two so when we ordered, we said we’d each have half. Orders were brought out already split! That was thoughtful as we didn’t ask for that. Onion rings were probably the best I’ve ever had. Lara greeted us, waited on us and served us. What a great experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in for a bite last night when we got into town. So good! The homemade cheesesticks were to die for! Fried pickles were salty and yummy — hit just the right spot. The pot roast was really good! Will definitely stop by again when we are in town.
We are not drinking folk but they had an impressive assortment of tap beers and full service drinks available.

Wow, Greenville you need to check out the Ashen Rose! The food is very good, portion size is large, beer selection can’t be beat.
Try the sausage and cheese app, but bring friends cuz it’s huge!
Really nice folks behind the bar who care about you and their food.
Plus it is open on Monday, not much else is in Greenville.
Go, now, just get there…
