If you’re anything like me, you probably feel a little hesitant when it comes to hiring someone you don’t know. However, with Upstate Electrical Solutions, you have no need to worry. Ian Ramirez is a man of integrity who does outstanding electrical work! He came out to our house and provided us with a free quote, initially, without pressure to move forward. When we were ready for him to help us out with some electrical work, he came out within a day, and was superbly professional and trustworthy. We will recommend him to our friends and family. Thank you for your help (both times)!

I had Upstate Electrical Solutions come out to look at a new 120 amp circuit and outlet… After looking at the current wiring Ian (the owner) told me that we already had the correct wiring needed and only had to switch out the outlet. Since he was here I asked if he could install a new LED light in our basement. That was not a problem… He did it pretty quick and only charge his standard fee. My wife and I have been looking for a good electrician who does great work and charges a fair price. I feel we have found that in Upstate Electrical Solutions.

Ian came out on short notice to install 2 timers that I was having trouble figuring out. He took the time to call customer service for the timer that was a problem and installed the second one. Spent quite a bit of time to complete the job. Very professional and friendly. He only charged me a modest fee for house call. I would recommend him and will call him again for some other projects we have planned.

Ian from Upstate Electrical Solutions installed direct wire dimmable LED under cabinet lighting in my home today. In addition, he added a new electrical outlet. I was blown away by his professionalism! He showed up on time, working around my schedule (late afternoon/​early evening), which is hard to come by nowadays. I was especially impressed by his attention to detail. He stopped to discuss placement of the lights (forward vs. rear of cabinet) and even showed pictures of past installs — I opted for forward placement. I would absolutely recommend him and in fact, will be scheduling him to come back in the spring to install 3 additional outdoor outlets and a whole home surge protector.
