Grannick’s Pharmacy

Family owned business for over 70 years– a true Greenwich community staple. The Grannicks are extremely kind and caring, and do their best to provide excellent service. I love the specialty products they carry from Europe like Mason Pearson hair brushes, Marvis toothpaste, and they carry Grether’s Pastilles (my favorite). Jeff Grannick, the pharmacist, is extremely knowledgeable, and the rest of the pharmacy staff seems quick and efficient. My scripts are usually ready before I’m done browsing the store (can’t say the same for cvs). They are really good at explaining any insurance issues and ordering products if they aren’t in stock. The staff is always a pleasure to work with. They recently updated the pharmacy and it looks great. The parking and back entrance make it convenient to visit, and they have free delivery. The hours aren’t posted, but I believe they are open from 9am-​6pm Mon-​Saturday. They also have a website with some old pictures which I think is pretty interesting. Independent pharmacies seem few and far between today, and I love that we have such a well known one right here in town.

Grannick’s is one of our iconic, family owned, multi-​generational businesses that add to the quality of life in and are the essence of Greenwich. It is on the block of Greenwich Avenue that has FREE parking ($ 5 per year for a sticker) if you are a member of the Greenwich Senior Center. Whether you need a prescription filled or medical supplies, this is a good place to look. Think global, buy local.
