My manicure was done by March it was beautiful one of the best manicures I’ve had. Great hand and shoulder massage. My only dislike is being charged $ 10 to remove my gel polish!

Hands down the best manicure I have ever gotten. My nail tech, March, was so thorough! I got a gel manicure and she meticulously shaped my nails, removed the cuticles, painted them flawlessly, and then made sure to go back and fix any flaws. On top of that I got a back massage and arm massage. All for $ 35(without tip). Blown away! This is my new salon!

I have given this nail salon so many chances to improve their service. There are WAY too many other salons in this area to go here again. If you want a 10 minute manicure, start to finish, then this is the place to go. Otherwise, go anywhere else. The attitude of the main person there, Christine, is the worst! Very unfriendly and acts like she is doing you a big favor to give you the 10-minute manicure. There is zero attention to detail. The polish is put on so quickly, without drying between coats, so my manicure lasts one day at most without chipping. Ridiculous salon, not going back!

Went here for a polish change. Sat there for 40 minutes waiting for my nails to dry. Got home waited another 15 minutes… nails were still sticky and then one of them completely smudged off. Very disappointed.

I live in central Denver but work near southglenn so have been trying out all the spots around the area. This so far has been my least favorite. First of all, they tell you shellac is $ 30 but my bill was $ 35 I asked why and they said it was for removal of old shellac. None of the others have ever charged for that and that’s fine if you do but they should disclose that. So shellac is basically $ 35. Seems high for about 30 seconds of crappy massage by a girl who is shrugging the whole time. Nails looked good though for sure. Another lady walked in and asked how much basic mani pedi is and they said $ 60. Holy crap! I have news for you. A mile up the road at another place I won’t name does it for $ 30. And they are super nice, and the place is newly renovated and they have a tv so I don’t have to stare off into space during a mani. Let’s top it off with the fact that my friend got a shellac mani too and for some reason got a shoulder massage? And I didn’t. It was so weird. I said wow lucky you how did you get that and she said ‘you mean you didn’t?’ So tacky. We paid the same which btw after tip was $ 42. Too expensive for what you get which is a basic shellac that is $ 25 everywhere else. If you are curious what the other salon is I will leave a review for them having decided they are the best in the area. And don’t give some people a shoulder massage and others not arbitrarily. It was the final item that made me decide to leave this review.

they don’t know what a buff and shine mani is, felt like I was a burden on the nail tech. worst 45.00 $ I’ve spent.

I went in for a pedicure. Reading past posts was looking forward to it. I live right down the street from this place. I was very disappointed. My feet felt as rough leaving as when I walked in. For $ 30 I expected to get better than a quickie pedicure. No exfoliation and a massage that took about 30 seconds. I would advise others to elsewhere.

I’ve been getting my nails done for years — mostly acrylics with colorful tips — so I’ve been to many salons. I was taking a break from nails and during that time I moved across town. I desperately needed my nails done for a wedding and decided to try the closest place I could find that was open. When I went in I asked if they did color/glitter tips and they told me yes. After I sat down and I asked to see their acrylic colors, it turned out the color/glitter meant polish. Ok, fine, glitter polish on the tips it is. Then they started on the nails. I’m not sure if the girl was a perfectionist, or just new, but she took about 10 – 15 minutes just to select the right sized tips for my nails. Then she started on the acrylics. I have never seen a process like this before — she brushed on nail glue(?) then dipped my nail in powder, applied some more glue, then sprayed it with a terribly irritating spray. I literally couldn’t breathe. I happen to be terribly sensitive to the chemical in nail glue(cyanoacrylate). I can handle it being used to glue on tips, but this process used so much glue in addition to the spray, with zero ventilation, my throat hurt by the time I left. The next morning I woke up with a terrible reaction(burning eyes, sneezing, sore throat — all symptoms I’ve had from cyanoacrylate exposure before) and missed two days of work. I guess I could say the nails were alright, except that I ended up painting them myself because they didn’t have a polish color like what I wanted. If you have a high tolerance for chemicals and only want very traditional, conservative nails, try this place. Otherwise, I would recommend trying somewhere else.

What I can say after my millions of nail salon experiences, is that these people are TRULY professional. Although I noticed that they have kind of archaic appliances, meaning that they only use nail files and things like that … compared to some salons who have electric files to expedite things and perhaps make it easier on the technicians. Christine is very nice. Kim is my favorite technician. They are all very gentle and pleasant. They’re a little bit pricey, but it’s Greenwood Village, so that is expected. I kind of like flashy nails, and they are more on the conservative side. I would recommend it, I don’t really have anything negative to say about them.

I was very happy w/my manicure and pedicure — the attention to detail and a good massage. My friend was not happy w/her manicure –uneven filing. However, don’t tell me you can do my manicure and pedicure at the same time, not be able to, then try to back out of the second service because a new customer arrived. I also witnessed a customer told they could receive the requested service of the extra massage, but when another opportunity came in to service a walk-in customer for a manicure, they refused to fulfill the request of the original customer. Shockingly rude and bad service.

Updated 8÷27÷14 I’ve now been several times since moving back almost 3 yrs ago. I don’t understand why no one else likes this place. I LOVEIT. Maybe b/c I go when I“m pretending to be a «lady who lunches» and the salon isn’t as busy. My $ 30 pedi took about 45 minutes. The young man who did my toes removed polish, shaped my toenails, removed cuticles, removed the dead skin from the feet, gave a thorough massage of calves and feet(my favorite part!), gave a hot towel treatment for lower legs, and expertly applied the polish of my choice. He was pretty meticulous with everything. He was also very pleasant and engaging, but not pushy. The pedi comes with a complimentary shoulder massage while you’re at the drying station. I guess for $ 30 they might consider throwing in a paraffin treatment too. But that feels greedy. Previous review from 9÷5÷2009: I’ve been once. I would love to be a regular, except I moved away from Denver(headdesk). During my visits to Denver, I always stay a few nights with a friend who lives across the street from this place. We made appts for pedis to have some ‘girl time.’ I got a french pedi, and I can’t describe how badly I needed a pedi without going all TMI. Suffice it to say that I go barefoot a lot and prefer flip flops. Not only did they do a gorgeous job on the nails, but everything was top notch. The lotion they use during the massage will leave your skin and feet soft for DAYS(and yes, that’s WITH showering and not reapplying lotion). The pedi will look great for WEEKS(at least two. I still had mine 3 weeks after). A pedi here will be on my agenda for my next visit to the Denver Metro Area. ps. a french pedi was $ 30 or under.

Remember how I couldn’t find the woman I loved so much who did my nails at the * other * Salon I’ve reviewed here? Found her! With the help of women working at Heaven Nails, I found Betty, who is still super sweet and does an amazing job. This salon is a little too far out from downtown Denver for me, but I drove out there immediately to get one last manicure and say goodbye(we move in a week!). For residents around that area: The prices are very decent. Pedicure chairs are clean, nail stations clean, and they have a delicious library of trashy(and even Gourmet) magazines to read. I think you need to call for appointments on the weekends or risk waiting. Visit them if you’re in the area! They are all very nice. OH — and they are the kind of place who asks that your tip be separate if you’re paying by credit card, so bring cash or your checkbook. It’s worth it.
