Love their lunch special! Their location is close to where I work so this place is great to grab a bite to eat on the lunch hour. Peruvian chicken is amazing. Go already! Yum!

The chicken was excellent. We both ordered a half chicken and the portion was huge. Potatoes were tasty as were the plantains. The dining room is not much to speak of, so we would probably do take-out next time. Will be back!

I really wanted to love this new local eatery, but was sadly disappointed with my meal. The chicken had no flavor and the skin was soggy(not edible). The rice and steamed veggies were both blah. Nothing special. Rotisserie chicken from the grocery store is ½ the cost and has way more flavor.

Food is excellent and service is great, very polite and tentative staff. Ordered half a chicken and 3 sides and forgot to take picture for review. DELICIOUS!

Awesome place! The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy and the sides were wonderful. Great options for gluten free and paleo. I will go there again!

Love that this place is now open! We had the ¼ chicken lunch special, which was perfectly tender and delicious with pinto beans — best ever. We also had the Lima chops which is chicken off the bone and fresh tomatoes, cilantro rice and beans. The best part about this meal, was the spicy ahi Amarillo sauce! The staff was friendly as could be. I will be back!

I liked it. It was really good. It’s more like a fast casual Caribbean/chicken place that you find in Florida.

My first time at Pollo Lima and what a treat! Honestly, the best chicken I’ve tasted. You definitely can’t go wrong with the quarter chicken, rice, and beans. It was a flavorful combination especially with the sauces from their sauce bar. Yay, I finally found my weekly chicken place!

We need more places like this in Englewood Colorado! I decided to try Pollo Lima today because I had noticed them moving in over the past couple months and had looked forward to trying someplace new to grab lunch. Three things stand out about this new spot — excellent food, very friendly service and a clean restaurant. They specialize in wood-fire roasted chicken and it was really good! I got a half chicken with garlic potatoes and yellow rice; total came to just shy of $ 12. The value was perfect because the food was great. Although they offer a few sauces that give the chicken a more«Mexican» flavor(in my opinion), I preferred to eat this rotisserie masterpiece plain. The marinade they use is phenomenal. We need more spots that serve home-cooked delicacies like this. Five stars!

This place is pretty solid. A good option for Paleo style and gluten free eaters. I tried the half chicken which was flavorful and even better with the spicy cilantro green sauce they have. Clean eating overall.

The chicken was ok, but under spiced and the quartered portion was small. Didn’t seem very freshly cooked either. The yucca was ok, but I wish they served the real yucca, instead of processed yucca that was smashed, re-formed and fried. The plantains were very good. The flan needs some work, as it was a bit rubbery in texture. They were out of the aji sauce, which is what Peruvians eat with pollo a la brasa, and it can really make or break the chicken. I did like the onion mixtures they had. The whole room got smokey during our visit, which didn’t help. We’ll go back in a while, to see if things improve, but otherwise we’ll stick with the pollo from La Polleria…

Apparently today was their grand opening and the chicken was fantastic! The lunch special was reasonably priced for the amount of food. I paid $ 7.89 for large portion of chicken, rice and beans, plantains and a soda.

After weeks of driving by, wondering when it would open, it’s finally here! Peruvian roasted chicken is a lot like rotisserie chickens you’ve had before, but with a lot more flavor. Tender, moist meat, with a layer of crispy and flavorful skin. If you’ve ever been to the likes of Pio Pio in NYC, this is a solid way to get your fix in Denver. I really liked my half chicken, and think it’s one of the best ways to go. The skinless chicken breast in the«Lima Chops» is tasty – it doesn’t benefit from the tastiness of the skin, but the sautéed peppers and onion were delicious in their own right(with a little spicy kick). The sauces were a great accompaniment; one that I tried was a great curry kick, the other like a spicy thin nacho cheese. The plantains were amazing in taste and texture, the yucca a good example of good preparation, somewhat resembling a more flavorful potato. The tres leches is great, with a fluffy consistency and moistness that separates it from heavier preparations. Big fan. The flan struck me as not as tasty as the tres leches, despite a very special preparation with a piece of fried plantain and a powder sugar dusting. The smoothness was great, but the density and sweetness were a little high for me, personally. I think this is more of a function of having eaten it after the tres leches. I’ll be back.
