Crafts were average and the people working were rude and unfriendly. Lacked customer service and were not willing to help. Would not go again for the price.

I took my work team there for some after work fun, and we all had a blast. There’s enough variety in the projects to choose from so we could all express our individual creativity, and the guys had projects they enjoyed and were good at as well. Lots of hammering and laughing… drinks we very good, and that staff was just the right amount of helping without hovering.

I came here with a group of girls for an employee holiday party and we all had a really great time! It took me forever to decide which craft I wanted to do. There were so many options that were really cute and I wanted to do more than one, but unfortunately I did not have the time. I finally made a decision and went with the distressed wood Colorado flag and it turned out really cute and is a great addition to my living room. The craft itself wasn’t too difficult, but I took my time. They have all their options listed on a menu with how much time each craft takes and the skill level it involves. You receive instructions with all the material involved in making your project and you build it all yourself. There are all skill levels and we all tried something different and everything turned out really cool! They allowed us to bring in Hapa Sushi from next door since they don’t serve food. We ordered drinks at the bar and I had a spicy margarita that was really yummy. I cant wait to go back and try another craft and bring another group of friends.

I love the location of this trendy little hangout spot. You must make reservations, as I’m unsure if they allow walk ins. We came in and there was a friendly person at the check in station. She handed us quirky little rubber animal toys to use as currency to gather your craft materials in the back. She then handed us menus of the crafts, there’s no direction, you get to choose whatever craft you want to! My friend and I chose the string art on a wooden board. We headed to the back where it was getting a little crowded but everyone was very friendly as they were squeezing past each other. The girls who work there offer advice on all projects, difficulty levels, then hand you a stack of your materials, whether it be canvas or fabric or wood. She handed us our wood boards, nails, and directed us to the back wall to pick out paint and string. We also had laminated direction sheets that clarified a lot of confusion. We picked our paints, got our string, picked out our stencils and headed to the table where we were assigned seats. The craft itself was a little difficult! I’m a massage therapist by trade so I have moderately strong and dexterous fingers, which helped me handle the string around the tiny little nails. It was a fun atmosphere, they served mimosas and came around to check on us. The business itself was very clean and trendy, with cute circus-themed umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. The bathrooms were also clean and painted with chalkboard paint, and they let the patrons draw on the walls with colored chalk! It was cool seeing nice notes and ample positivity come from so many people who peed in the same place. they are gender friendly bathrooms as well, the doors say«bathroom for everybody» and there are two. I definitely enjoyed my craft time here and certainly plan to come back!

Great location! Went for the first time on Sunday morning, 05.08.16 at the DTC spot for a co worker’s bday. It was a RAINYDAY and perfect for crafting inside. I believe the DIY project was about $ 42 plus tip so about $ 50 for a project and mimosas. I think when I went for my bday party in Feb 2015 at the DT Denver location it was $ 35 plus tip on a Sunday morning, but maybe the DTC is priced higher? We had a large group so make sure to plan ahead and make reservations. It does get Booked! I had a GREAT time! The staff is always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They were all wonderful and patient helping our large group of about 15. The mimosas and creativity were flowing. I made a bracelet and get lots of compliments every time I wear it. This is an awesome place to enjoy friends and family company while creating a fun project. The UC does not serve food but you can order food in. We ordered pizza and garlic knots! Yum! Food gave us more energy to complete our projects. We all had a blast and will be back! Also this location has a bonus Bc parking is def easier to find… Yay!

Fantastic place for group activities for all adults… even grandma had a blast! Great selection of crafts and craft brews. Bonus stars for the mock tails for us pregnant women(and the designated driver). Such a fun idea and we’ll definitely be back.

We had an amazing time! There were craft options for all skill levels, the staff was helpful when we had questions, and our projects turned out great! The space is nice, organized, and clean but it was a little cramped. And it was only about half full. We kept bumping the people at our table and others. They let us bring pizza & salad and have a full bar. They even had coloring books. If someone in your group wants to hang out but not do an actual craft, they can color!

This is the coolest thing in my world right now. I love being crafty, but let’s be honest, you can Pinterest your little heart out and often when put into action projects just don’t come out like you’d expect! Upstairs Circus gives a selection of items to craft that you’ll actually want to keep, and not throw away(cough:sipandpaint: come on, you know no one keeps those, losers). The options range from jewelry, to art and home items like glasses, bottle openers and key chains. The price is reasonable, and they even have a happy hour list where some of their projects are a bit cheaper. They have a bar with reasonably priced drinks(Circus Donkey = the absolute perfect craft accompaniment) and a popcorn machine so you can munch while you’re getting down Martha Stewart style. Projects are rated from easy to hard, and the amount of time expected to take. I do recommend if you’re doing a harder project to pay attention to your timeline, or it will run out quick! I absolutely love this place and can’t wait to find an excuse to return!

So fun. Basically you choose from a menu of projects of varying skill/challenge level, and the time it takes to complete, and they give you a kit, and you build that shit. You build it hard. And they’ll help you. And give you booze. Staff is totally chill and helpful. What’s not to like?

I must say at first I was a bit skeptical as nothing screamed girly louder than this place. Once I arrived our crew got our cocktails and the headed to the craft shop to get our building material. I selected the beer carrier with opener… things started getting masculine with that project alone :). They had a great selection of cocktails and beers, the apps that we enjoyed were light yet delicious! In the end we all had a great time and I would certainly return… and even bring some more bros!

This location is bigger than the one downtown. The ladies were helpful and very accommodating to our non traditional pieces. We had an ambitious group who decided to do this outside of the menu pieces. We emailed them what we wanted to do with the string art and they made us a stencil and made it happen! They charged $ 5 for extra supplies as we wanted our nail art on 3 pieces of wood instead is the one square piece. We went on ½ price wine night so a bottle of wine was $ 13! Wish we knew about having food delivered, or we could have ordered from Pizza Republic.

Holy smokes! This place is sooooo fun. It was a full house so be sure to make a reservation. The staff was so nice. Lots of crafts to chose from and a great location as far as parking and restaurants to eat at before going. It is quite loud inside because everyone is having a good time and crafting of course. The drinks were delicious as well. Overall I would recommend this place to everyone!

I was fortunate enough to attend the soft opening for this location. I was so excited for an Upstairs Circus to open in the area since I love the downtown one. This one lived up to all my expectations. The layout of this location makes it convenient to go and get your crafting supplies while still having ample seating. This would be a great place for any kind of party with everyone having an option of what craft they want to make. I can’t wait to go back!
