Yeesh. Medicare phở at best and okay Vietnamese rolls. So I visit some of the Burmese restaurants on the south side and enjoy the phở there. Obviously, different ethnic groups will make the dish differently. However, this establishment made a sad version of it. The broth was thin and had very little taste. the noodles were okay. The meatballs were tasteless and overall blah. I did not finish this meal and ended up tossing out the leftovers. The Vietnamese rolls were solid. They came with shrimp — yay! That’s quite what I’m used to. But the beef was a peculiar touch. I was not feeling it. My partner got the lo mein noodles. He was not a fan. Also the dish came with half rice, which he does not like — so a decent amount of food went to waste and he had to get something else for dinner afterwards. We went on a Friday evening and it was packed!(I did not care how how busy it was). So clearly the folks of Beech Grove love this place. I will say that the clientele were mostly white whereas the Burmese establishments I frequent have Asian clients in the majority. I think that often makes a difference, as sometimes dishes are changed to better intrigue an Anglo palate. Overall, the reviews had me thinking this place was tops. But I won’t be back. I’ll stick to Kimu and other Asian restaurants when I need my phở fix.

The first time here. The staff was very friendly. I got the luncheon special from 10:30 to 2:30 they have 28 specials that are only $ 4.75. I got sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and sweet and sour soup and a egg roll what a deal.

Best, most authentic Vietnamese fusion food in all of Indy. I drive 20 mins to get this food. Try the soups, they are a little out there but worth it. Also, they do a good sweet and sour chicken, so my kids have something to eat to.

Probably the only good things I can say about this place is the people were friendly, service was fast and it was decently clean. Got the General Tso’s chicken and couldn’t even eat it. There was a gap between the«chicken» and the batter that was fried. Looked like hush puppies. When you are the chicken it was like eating candy. The«sauce» was so gooey that it got stuck in my teeth and hard to chew. The rice was bland and tasteless. I started eating my friends dish which was one of the«spicy» dishes and although there was a little spicy to it, I wouldn’t call it spicy. Won’t be going back and I recommend anyone wanting to go to steer clear of the fried chicken.

Just love this unassuming gem! The food is delicious-especially the egg drop soup on a chilly night. The staff are the kindest around. You can definitely feel the family atmosphere.

Absolute horrible food. Will never eat again. Spring rolls were brown/blackened. One star is over rated…

My little sister loves this place so we ordered dinner from here. I had the chicken fried rice and immediately after one bite I could taste the amazing flavor. It was just as good as what you would get at say a Japanese steak house. And filling with egg mixed in and the chicken was bigger pieces more so than our usual Chinese take out place. Will definitely order from here again. The rice wasn’t the yellow kind and I think that made for better flavor.

I fell in love with this place when I lived in BG. Now it is a more than 30 minute drive from my house, and I make that drive happily. I can’t think of anywhere else that comes close.

We eat there regularly(have been for the past 20 years) and everything on their menu is great. They use fresh ingredients and cook to order, not ready made like some places. The staff is also very friendly.

One of the few places around that serves their own food rather than the same old from some supplier somewhere. The owners are always friendly and polite and the pricing is very reasonable. The food is great. I recommend the General Tso’s ordered spicy, with crab rangoons!

I used to go the egg roll number 1 in beech grove regularly but the quality went down a lot to me so I figured I would give this egg roll a shot and i haven’t went back to the egg roll in beech grove since which is saying a lot since the one in beech grove is a minute away from my house and this one is probably 20 minutes away. The service and quality here can’t even be compared to the one in beech grove. I’ve tried most of the menu in beech grove and this one has a few different things such as BBQ chicken which I wasn’t to sure about trying at first but after the first bite I was hooked. I recommend getting lunch specials because the price you get the entrée you order with rice, soup(I get extra rice no soup), egg roll or crab rangoon. If they have a dinner special at this location I would recommend that over just ordering like a cashew chicken and egg roll or whatever you like because you get a lot and I mean a lot of meat and very little rice.

This place is one of the best Chinese places around. The food is always plentiful and is of great quality as well. It is also more than fairly priced. In most cases it is roughly close to half of what would pay at other Chinese/oriental restaurants. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They get to know who you are after awhile, and are always happy to see you. The atmosphere is not anything special,… but who cares. I go for the food exclusively. I always go for the take out option anyway. It more than makes up for it. Thanks Egg Roll number 1. You are number 1 indeed. :o)

Egg drop soup is a great size and quality for the price. Crab rangoons are not just cream cheese which I LOVE! the sesame tofu is ALOT of tofu(like a whole block) served with rice for under $ 7. very nice workers.

Lunch is only $ 4.50, you can’t beat that! Food is fresh and made to order. The nicest Asian family owns this restaurant and they are an absolute pleasure to do business with. The portions may be smaller than most but the quality is better.

Lets just start off and say I love this place. I have been coming here for years. It is my go to place for Chinese food. The couple that run it are always sweet and pleasant. The have a great lunch special. I usually go at lunch but on occasion I head over at dinner.
