For some reason, they are 45 minutes behind a half an hour after they open. Not sure why you would schedule an appointment at 9:30 if you can’t get to your patients in a time manner. 2 patients in 1 hr 15 minutes. get your act together. I still haven’t gotten me back for my screening

Nice pave and friendly helpful employees. Now the $ 78.00 for 2 pair? That is for the basic not very attractive fames. I picked out $ 129.95 frames, already had an exam and Rx from Abrams Eyecare. My total for the glass with lenses was a whopping $ 629.95. That is a lot different than 2 pair for $ 78.00. They don’t tell you that price is for frames without lenses, really what good are they without the lenses? I guess I went over border with the lenses, but the second pair are going to have just plain ordinary lenses in them. Haven’t made up my mind as of yet.

Love this place. It’s perfect if you need a quick eye exam for contacts or glasses. You can often get an appointment the same day, and the $ 79 for the contacts exam includes the trial pair.

I came in today to get an eye exam and contacts as well. I was able to have an exam today as well as get contacts, and the staff was very friendly and helpful the entire time. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and will continue to do so. Thank you :-)

I had a GREAT experience today and I have to tell you about it! I went to Lenscrafters in Greenwood Mall. They were too busy to see me for a week, I priced their frames and left. I just so happened to go across the street to Eyeglass World. I was thinking, well what can it hurt and I didn’t expect to find much in designer frames there. I want to mention I hate going to the eye doc because I feel like I am going to a used car salesman, but alas I went anyway. The doc office was busy but gave me an appt the next day which I took because they have a GREAT selection, including RL, Coach, Guess and DKNY. The best part? 2FORONEDESIGNERFRAMES. The most expensive were at 199, so that was a GREAT deal. Ok I lied, the BEST part was that after my exam, the doctor actually talked me out of glasses because I did not need them, all I needed was reading glasses. I even talked to him about getting the glare reduction coating on a reg pair for night, nope, wouldn’t do me any good. So I went to go pay for my exam and the saleslady/clinician also(after my much wanting them) told me not to get them as glasses with the windshield would do me no good. WHAT? two people actually being HONEST and not trying to sell me a 600 paif of glasses? UNHEARDOF. I was really taken aback by the professionalism, honestly, and GREAT customer service. I paid 50 today for the basic + exam. I saved a ton. Oh and did I tell you? The doctor is hilarious-urge him to go back to school to be a geologist… I recommend this office!

I hate the optometrist. I hate them. I have had glasses since I was a kid, and every time I visit the eye doctor my prescription has changed.- I need new glasses. What a racket.- Someone with a specialization that I couldn’t possibly understand telling me I need buy something new from him.- I always get glasses that make little or no difference in my vision, and I have to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get them because the receptionist or technician is obviously an idiot or too rude to be concerned with me. I hadn’t gone to the eye doctor in almost five years. I was sitting on my couch watching Mad Men. I took my glasses off to wipe dust from the lenses, and they just fell apart in my hands. Cracked– right down the center. The two halves fell away from each other as if they had never constituted a single object. No «snap» or «crack.» Nothing. I was horrified.- This was my only pair of glasses, and the electrical tape that would have convinced anyone that I was Tri-Lamb alum worried about my upcoming Magic: The Gathering tournament wasn’t doing the job. It was about midnight, so there wasn’t really anything I could do except call-in to work. The next morning I left in search of a optometrist office that ground their own lenses. I couldn’t wait a week to get something in the mail. I talked to several such establishments on the phone and most of them were rude and overpriced. The people at Eyeglass World got me in that day. The exam was all of five minutes, and they had a BOGO deal on glasses. They were even understanding of my situation, and despite being very busy– they rushed one of my orders so that I could pick it up the next morning. Since it had been years since I wore a new pair of glasses I had to go back several times to have my new frames adjusted, but the techs– despite being busy– were always friendly and helpful. My whole life I have felt manipulated by everyone in the optometrist’s office, but I left Eyeglass World happy and pleased with what I purchased.

Sub-par retailer in the eyeglass industry. Stingy selection and average service. This company recently got bough out by a larger rival and they are turning the screws on cost and it shows. I recently took my mom here the other day to get a pair of glasses and they were giving out generic gigando(I think that’s how you spell it) glass cases. Instead of the ones that manufacturer’s send out with their glasses. How lame. Don’t think that I will be spending money again there anytime soon.
