* Awesome hand-made personal flatbread pizzas made in an outdoor fireplace oven * One warning: Unilocal map stuff is often wrong in this part of Maine and seems to put places miles away from where they actually are. You can find Fireplaced inside a new business called«The Local Hub». If you can see the sign for the Mt Abram turn on Rt.26 or know where that is than you can easily find this spot. By far the awesomest thing about«the Hub» was exploring their grow-op supplies and stumbling across a tiny kid bundled up and dead asleep in a nest of blankets inside a pop-up mini grow-room enclosure display. Sweet & hilarious. Back to the ‘za … Stopped in on the 1st friday after the Hub opened on a tuesday. The outdoor oven was going strong and a steady stream of people were coming in to say hi and check things out. Staff are super friendly. As of now they are only making personal sized pizzas that start at about $ 7 bucks and go up a little bit depending on toppings. Everything is made fresh and from scratch when you order and the toppings are as fresh/local/organic as possible. Took home 4 pizzas and warmed them up on a wood stove @ home. Tried: Plain, Garlic/Pepperoni, Sausage/Peppers and Pepperoni/Mushroom. All were great and the small sizes meant we just traded slices back and forth. Being located inside the Hub is convenient since it allowed us to raid their nice selection of beer and cider although they had to bring an «adult» over to ring up the sale since some of the staff are too young to process alcohol sales! We’ll be back. The pizza hours seem coordinated to be a perfect fit for the weekend traffic going up and down Rt26
