I went with a friend when he dropped off and then picked up his rifles. This gunsmith, Jeff McHenry, knows what he is doing. He’s usually booked up a few weeks in advance during hunting season, so plan ahead, and don’t wait until the last minute to get your pieces worked on. Hint: don’t let Gander or Dick’s install scopes. That should be done at the factory or by a competent gunsmith. There is more to it than just slapping on the bases and rings.
