She is very personable. However, you can never speak with a real person if you wanted to. The front desk ladies are not very nice. I have waited over an hour to be seen after my scheduled appt. time several times.

Dr. Davidson’s bedside manner was a little flaky and goofy at best. She didn’t always discuss or answer all of my questions to my complete understanding and satisfaction. She always seemed very rushed. More times than not, I waited in the waiting room AND the examining room for extended and unsatisfactory amounts of time. I had a pretty heavy duty procedure done at her office years ago. It was extremely uncomfortable in many respects — mentally and physically. I feel it didn’t go well overall, especially as far as my after care was concerned. I was in much pain afterward, as a result of not being given any decent and appropriate pain meds for my aftercare recovery. I ended up having a severe panic attack at my home a few hours after the procedure. I now have deducted and understand(and is highly probable), that it was specifically due to the medication cocktail and injections I was given previous to the procedure. I had never had a panic attack before. As it has been accurately described, it’s absolutely frightening, and seriously feels like a heart attack. When I called the office after the episode subsided, one of Dr. Davidson’s nurses basically dismissed it as it not being a big deal. I asked if I might have had an adverse reaction to the medicine they gave me previous to the procedure, and she dismissed the probability. I learned later, that it was probably due to the medication Valium. I ended up toughing it out, but the whole situation was beyond uncomfortable and miserable as well as frustrating. I quit going to her practice shortly thereafter, especially when the NP I liked who worked there for a period of time, also eventually left. She really is why I continued to go to this practice as long as I did. I ended up seeing the NP most of the time anyway. When I started to go to another OBGYN practice, I told them about my medical history. I mentioned the procedure, and they were shocked and horrified that I had it done at Dr. Davidson’s office instead of a hospital. I had decent insurance at the time, so it would not have been a big deal to have the procedure performed in a safer and more secure medical location/facility. They also speculated and basically confirmed that I did indeed have a full blown panic attack from my description of the episode. I am glad that is all behind me now. Take what you will from my not so satisfactory experience at this practice. I am happy to have found the NP again working at another practice. In that respect,… It’s all good. ;o)
