Ordered the garlic knots, pizza, meatball sandwich and hot Italian sandwich. Out of the 4 the knots were the best except they didn’t come with a dipping sauce. The pizza was just ok, nothing special. The meatball sandwich needed more sauce and was just barely warm. The Hot Italian was basically a cold lunch meat sandwich on a warm roll. I would not order any of the items again and will doubtfully go back. I am surprised this place is still around. Hi prices, no service, mediocre food.

Average to below average Italian type of food. The problem that exists with most pizza places is : You are either good and tasty, or you’re not. Most of the pizza places I have been to in my lifetime are not. Most of them just schlep out pizzas like they’re dealing cards in a card game. It’s a gamble that you are going to get something that is outstanding and a true winner that keeps you coming back for more. Where is the care? The quality? The flavor? Where is the passion/love? ! With all of the pizza places out there to choose from,(and they are a dime a dozen indeed), if you’ve been to one, sometimes you been to them all. There are just a few standouts around the Greenwood area, and I am sorry to say that Lucas is just not one of them.

Tried this place once, and never again. It’s gross how the food sits out. The quality is not good. If you want fast and cheap, go to Fazoli’s across the street or go to a real pizza place.

Luca’s Pizza is a decent place to grab Italian food, for a break from Papa Johns or Fazolis. It is the same place that you could find in a mall food court, like another reviewer stated. The first thing that struck me about this restaurant is how clean and modern it looks. The staff is super friendly and eager to help you select your meal from a bevy of options. The prices seem to me to be about 20−30% higher than Fazolis. The food is unique though, so that helps make up for some of it. Overall, I found the pizza crust to be somewhat chewy, and the pepperoni breadsticks were not as tasty as Chicagos Pizza’s. I found the overall taste to be on the bland side. There are a lot of fountain drink choices here, which was nice. This restaurant rates well for me on appearance, cleanliness, variety and good service, but most importantly, I did not find the quality of food for the money to be worth it.

This is a good pizza place that’s on the top of my list! The staff is friendly they always at least have sports playing on one of the tv’s, so that’s a plus for me! The only thing I’m not a fan of is that they take forever to get your food to you. Other than that, a good place for pizza!

Came here with family while on vacation. Very disappointed. The crust was horrible, the sauce was bland, the toppings sucked, and it was grossly overpriced. It’s essentially expensive fast food pizza. I would have rather ordered a chain pizza place and saved the money. Do yourself a favor and don’t eat here.

In spite of walking in and feeling as if I entered comfort food heaven due to the widely varied spread of pizza, Stromboli, calzone, and many other items behind their glass counter, I found the quality and taste of the food pretty mediocre. The bread didn’t seem freshly baked(they take items off of the«spread» and heat them up in the oven when you order them) and had a much more bland flavor than I would have expected. The tiramisu was okay, but appeared pre-packaged and previously frozen. I have had much better tasting bread and pizza at many other pizza places in the area. Go if you want to enjoy the delectable-looking«spread,» but I didn’t think the food tasted nearly as delicious as the spread suggested it would. It would also be nice if they would actually hand you your food, rather than leaving the food on the top of the display case for you to have to reach up and get once they heat it up for you. On the positive side, the restaurant has a relatively cozy atmosphere and is pretty clean.

no no no! This place has the ability to be much better than it is. The pizza itself just doesn’t taste homemade. I don’t know if its the ingredients they are using or what but it’s very bland. and bland is not something I want when I eat my very favorite food. The restaurant itself is very nice. lots of space. nothing in terms of service was offered when I went there. Everything was ordered and picked up at the counter. Matter of fact, the only thing I would mention in terms of service was the feeling of being rushed. Not impressed. Sorry guys.

In high school(late 90’s) this place was located in the Greenwood Mall. I can remember devouring their delicious pepperoni stuffed bread sticks with cheese sauce. but that’s about it. Fast forward 10 years and they have a nice, clean operation running on 135 in Greenwood. They still have great Pepperoni Stuffed Bread sticks, Pizza, Calzones, Pasta, and many other Italian diner style fare to choose from. The prices are right at under $ 10 for a combo of pizza/sticks/and a drink! I love their white pizza: tomatoes, classic pizza cheese, herbs, & ricotta. Don’t miss the pepperoni stuffed bread sticks! Their prepackaged desserts look to be of very high quality so they may be worth trying!
