Sears Roebuck & Co

Can I give this no stars? We bought a very expensive television here. Long story short, the delivery time kept getting changed, they wouldn’t return phone calls, they couldn’t give us any dates in concrete, and they didn’t seem to care. Even when we went in to return our undelivered product, they really could have cared less. Yikes! I will never shop at Sears again.

Meh. Any Sears is really just okay for me, so I don’t have much to say about the store. I visited this one only because I had a gift card left over from Christmas. Other than that, I wouldn’t patronize this store. I don’t have anything against Sears, it’s just not my type of store. I’d rather just go to Target.
As a side note, it was really annoying when we finally went to the counter to make our purchase (a 4 slice toaster!) and we couldn’t simply buy the toaster and walk out. We were asked if we had a Sears charge card, if we’d like to sign up for one, if we had a Sears savings card (whatever it’s called… similar to a Kroger plus card, Sears style), and finally if we would like to add a «protection plan» to our twenty dollar toaster.
Yea, yea, yea… I get it. It’s just part of the job, but it becomes too much for eventually. Sometimes I just want to buy something without any hassles and leave!
