I’ve shopped here quite a bit and agree with the other reviews that the owner — and all the staff I’ve encountered — are very friendly and helpful I signed up for the«Knitting Boot Camp» class and enjoyed it for the first few sessions, but after leaving with a headache for 2 classes in a row, I dropped out. There was a woman in the class who talked non-stop and nothing was done to rein her in. I was not exactly the most advanced knitter in the class, so I really needed to concentrate. With the non-stop jabbering, it was just too difficult. The breaking point was when the woman brought up politics. So, I haven’t been back because I think that woman is a «regular» and spends a lot of time there. I don’t know what the solution is, but I would bet I’m not the first person she chased away. It’s a shame because it’s really a great store.

I am so happy that Starstuck Cat is in Greenwood. It’s a yarn shop and so much more. The owner, Jill, carries a nice selection of yarns and all the tools a knitter or crocheter could want. If she doesn’t have something you want she is quick to offer to order it for you. In addition she also has rug hooking and basket making supplies and tools too. There’s a wide variety of classes available to take to improve skills you already have or to learn new ones. She also carries really cute crafter accessories; bags, shirts, jewelry, etc. It’s a really cute shop and very inviting. Open studio nights are on Fridays until 8pm and while it’s usually knitters all crafters are welcome.

I love to knit, and have found a more than a yarn supplier in Starstruck Cat Design, I have found my knitting home. Each time I enter the shop, I am welcomed by the owner, Jill. Each experience has been non-confrontational, with no pressure to buy. She lets her product speak for herself. While I am drawn to her yarns and incredible selection of knitting books, Jill is a jack of all trades, so to speak, in the craft arena. Basket weavers, rug hookers, and crocheters will all find something to love in this Greenwood, Indiana store. She also offers a variety of classes and open knit times for crafters of all kinds to gather and share their current projects.
