So hit or miss on this Copper River. Service can be so very slow. Plates came out 10 minutes after the table next to us got their food yet they ordered after us. Daughters hamburger bun fell apart and she said the meat just tasted bad. I had a grilled chicken salad and the chicken was not grilled very well. I hate paying restaurant prices when I can do much better cooking myself. Not going back.

First time visiting Copper River Grill. My friend, her kids and myself went to Greer to visit another friend and see some of the white stuff. Unfortunately my friend has unbearably picky children, and not even the good picky, so we had to get in the van and look for some grub, and we end up at Cooper River Grill. The wait wasnt bad, maybe 15 minutes considering they were relatively busy. Our waiter was a bit detached, like he didnt really feel like being there, but that was not that big of a deal to me. My gf ordered the, I’m guessing, infamous honey glazed croissants for an app. Beautiful presentation, really pretty to look at, but eating these are like eating the Pillsbury crescent rolls straight out of the can. They were very doughy, very underdone. I get the attention of the waiter, and tell him that they are underdone, he takes the plate and brings back a second round. Again, pretty to look at, again, doughy and raw tasting. With this, I assumed that this is just how people like it. Not for me. My gf ordered the ribeye, everything on the menu was laced with bacon and/or ham, so I ended up with my usual standby – chicken fingers. Everything was pretty average. My gf and her 12 year old order what is called a «table sized» dessert. Its a fudge brownie with whipped cream, ice cream, and reeses bits here and there. Its ginormous. Had a few bites, and it was good, but wow – its just enormous. Definitely enough to share amongst 4 or more. 3 of us couldnt finish it. For the $ spent, I wouldnt second this place. Its like a Applebees, with less options and a bit more expensive… sooo, not a place I would recommend.

My daughter and son in law took me here for my birthday. I had the Copper River special(steak medium-well) IT was PERFECT. Not one bad piece. It would have passed for a filet. The creamed spinach is my favorite and omgeeee, the croissant? Who needs Krispy Kreme Donuts. It was flaky, melted in my mouth and just a little sweet. This was my 1st visit and I can’t wait to go again!

Three things I appreciate about this place. 1) The food is very good with generous portions. 2) The sound is managed well enough that four people can easily have a conversation, even when the place is full. 3) The staff are friendly and attentive without interrupting every few minutes.

We went for lunch, lovely hostess seated us right away. The waitress came by immediately to offer and serve us drinks, then we lost her, I think for about ½ hour, she came back and apologized, we placed our order. And then… we waited almost another half hour until we received our lunches. I had ordered a mixed greens salad with chicken strips. Mixed greens, I don’t think so, more like wilted iceberg. What a sad lunch this was. The waitress told us that the cooks did not like her, hence the long wait. What’s up with that? We wondered if there was a manager. The girls I was with were there a couple of weeks ago and had the same story, it was my fault we came back as I wanted to try Copper River. But now, I don’t think we will ever be back. Sorry. The food is really very overrated. Not good at all!

I usually get the Mob salad, which is big and delicious. This last time I tried their burger. It was huge, but nothing special taste wise, and they put two pickle slices on it! 2. For about a pound of meat. Don’t skip on my pickles, man. Someone with me ordered the«chopped steak,» and it is NOTSTEAK. It’s ground beef. Very misleading. Big no-no IMHO.

We had not eaten at this location in a very long time. To be honest, Copper River is not s restaurant we eat at a lot because I’ve always felt like it was overrated. This evening, it was not very crowded & our service & food were great. If I had to leave a piece of advice, it would be to ask the waitresses or waiters to pull down their sleeves to cover up tattoos. I realize they may be much more accepted, but at the end of the day, they look unprofessional.

Had a reservation for party of nine. We were seated and served promptly. Menu had lots of options, typical American fare. We ordered everything from steak, seafood to pasta. Appetizer choices are not to be missed. I highly recommend the crab dip. All the entrees were excellent, fried Tilapia just average. One steak was cooked medium rather than medium well. We sent it back. Manager personally brought it to the table to make sure we were satisfied. Waitress was excellent. Staff seemed to genuinely enjoy working there. They functioned well as a team. I highly suggest any of the sides. The cheese mashed potatoes and reds are the best. Finished the meal with Alaska Pizza for dessert. Left full and satisfied. We will return.

Not bad. The food was okay but it took a while to get our food. Usually thats not a problem but with two young kids when the wait is extra long it becomes a nightmare. For the money you spend I would go to a Bin 112 or 104 just my opinion.

Holy Cow slow slow slow the waitress was great but the service is so slow. They told us 45 mins when we got there ended up being almost 90 mins. The manager took a party of thirty on a Saturday night. We got there at 6:00 I asked them why the whole side was open told me there was a party of 30. The people were still coming for the party at 8:30. I am sorry they held up all those tables for that long where people were walking out because of the waiting time. They should have not seated them until the whole party was there. I have come here many times since I live so close by. I’m so pissed I will not be coming back!

Wish I could go less than 1 star… food was good and our waitress was fine. The kicker here is that we had to wait over an hour from the time we were seated until we received our food. We were busy counting the number of tables that were seated after us that had already received their food. The«owner /operator» was called to the table behind us and the people there were complaining about how long it was taking. He told them their target was 20 minutes but tonight they were closer to 30. When he came around again, I stopped him and asked him if he could figure out where our food was. I showed him the receipt from the bar where we had ordered drinks while we waited for a table. I closed our tab when we were seated. He agreed that it had been over an hour after he woefully tried to explain that some orders take longer than others. Shortly after he left our food arrived but he never came back to offer an explanation or apologize even though our waitress did wholeheartedly. As we left I saw the«owner /operator at the podium near the entrance and stopped to tell him how much I appreciated him coming back to explain what had happened. He responded«Sure. You’re Welcome.» He had no idea who I even was. He could have given a flying flip. That’s cool though. I won’t be back and I’ll make sure everyone I know hears this story. Hats off to the waitresses there. Hate they’re working for such a jerk.

First time at this placed I order at 4;30PM on Friday 2÷6÷2015. Server very friendly. Finished my salad. Then about 15 minutes later a cook came to my table and said«I’ve got some bad news’ all the prime rib was cooked to long and is very well done. I ordered the prime med. rare. I was very disappointed. At this point I did not want to order anything else’ But, I was still charged for my salad and drink. Nice way for a restaurant to say that they were sorry, only after the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I hate to give a bad review to any restaurant. I was in the food and beverage industry for eight years. However, I took pride in my work and the service we had was terrible. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait. The bar was dirty and we had to wait a while before the bartender noticed we were there. The food and portions were great but the whole service we were trying to get this dude’s attention or wondering what he was doing. I can forgive a server in the weeds, but this dude was just standing at the other end of the bar shooting the breeze with other customers. Maybe he assumed they would be bigger tippers. For shame bartender and management! This bar is too big for one bartender, especially this one.

Good food and reasonable prices. The chicken wings are naked which helps my celiac wife.

Good Food. Great Atmosphere. Nice Staff. The Copper RIver New York Special Steak was cooked perfectly. Crab Stuffed Tilapia was good and the Hickory Fired Salmon is something special.

The food here is pretty decent for a chain restaurant, and since it’s a walk away from home it goes at the top for convenience of location. The low rating is due to the lack of quality of the service. I have never been here(even occasionally by myself) where I have been able to get my food in under half an hour. I’m never parched for water, but after crossfit waiting(sometimes for up to an hour) and then getting your food and it’s wrong really just makes a person hangry.

Don’t bother. This is the 2nd time I have been here and it was worst than the first. I found the food to be flavorless and overcooked as well as dripping with oil and grease. The atmosphere looks nice but is actually very cold. There doesn’t seem to be anyone in charge and employees all look like they are lost.

I love Copper River and we recently started going to the Greer location. I got the BBQ nachos to go and they are always always so yummy(but really easy to make at home) but my last order will truly be my last. The order had multiple burnt nachos(tasted like burnt popcorn) and the chicken had very minimal sauce so it really just tasted like cheesy chicken and burnt popcorn. :(

Good burgers and fries, fair prices, okay décor… Our service was really good, but overall, the meal wasn’t anything special. We stopped for a quick lunch while traveling. Hubs got the biggest burger on the menu, I had a wrap. The wrap was slightly under seasoned. My side– a sweet potato– had an odd flavor. All in all, just okay.
