I can’t believe I haven’t rated this place yet! This is the best thing about summer in South Carolina. I wish they were not only open during warm seasons, but it makes them all the more special. It is my belief that locally owned ice cream shops are always better than chains. I’m not saying that I don’t enjoy DQ, but the local places just have a touch of charm that you don’t get from larger players. Their ice cream is amazing. I haven’t had a flavor I disliked yet. They let you taste as many flavors as you want before picking. Normally, I would get a cup, but I’ve tried their milkshakes and brownie sundaes which deserve equal praise. On the other side of the building they have a great little fruit and vegetable stand. I love their watermelons and peaches. They also have great and local jams and jellies. If you’re looking for some good, fresh produce, and a nice way to cool down from the summer heat then you won’t want to miss this place. Just make sure to bring cash! They don’t take card.

Staff was way under aged for my taste. The girl at the front had a bad attitude and it really made my frozen delight little less enjoyable. The bench I sat at appeared to have a «rocketship» which added interest to my desert. The actual ice cream was exceptional. I Tried the«cotton candy» it was a little too sweet. The spoon was just a basic plastic. There are better ice cream parlors out there be sure to look out.

Really sweet small town feel kind of place! We just moved from philly and are loving family friendly(and just plain FRIENDLY!), places like this! Great ice cream, you can definitely taste the difference fresh ingredients make! My daughter and I loved it, will definitely be back!

Fantastic ice cream parlor situated with a roadside peach stand. They have more flavors than you can imagine. My personal favorite is to mix the cookies and cream with chocolate chip cookie dough. They also have great milkshakes, but, personally I would pick the ice cream most times. Would definitely recommend.

Ice cream is good, but I have one biiiiiiig problem. They do not take debit cards. This seems small, but I rarely carry cash. They also do not offer an atm on premises. In 2015, this is really inconvenient.

When I was a kid we would always go down to the peach shed in the summertime to grab fresh made peach icecream. I was excited when I saw Dillards on the side of the road. It was packed! As we walked up we saw a sign that said«cash only» who carries cash anymore??? I told the kids to turn around, we got in the car and went to Brusters. I mean even people at yard sales can take your debit card these days. Im sure they have an ATM machine next to the counter which you can get cash for a small fee. Yeah thanks a lot. Wont ever be back. Cash only establishments are a hassle to do business with and I avoid them at all costs

Lord knows, I love me a no-frills, local establishment that knows how to knock a few key things outta the park. It’s gotta be an unassuming place with friendly, attentive service that is a master at specializing in simplicity. If you’ve been looking for such a place in the ice cream joint category, go to Dillard’s immediately and forget about looking anywhere else. This is real-deal, small-town-style ice creamage — like I said, simple. And fantastic. Dillard’s serves DeLuxe brand ice cream, which is a semi-local(call it «regional») brand made just a few hours from here in Mooresville, NC. That’s right near the heart of central North Carolina dairy country, and it sure seems like the local freshness pays major taste dividends on the back end of the final product. The ice cream is far from fro-yo, both in taste and in substance, which is absolutely delightful if you ask me. Maybe this sounds a bit backwoods or provincial, but doggone it, if I’m gonna go out for ice cream, I want real sugar and real cream. Sue me. The attentive, capable youths behind the shotgun-style counter will be glad to let you sample the array of tantalizing flavors before you commit. Portions are bigger than you think, so consider sizing down or sharing. My personal favorite flavor is chocolate peanut butter delight; my wife’s died-and-gone-to-heaven choice is Charleston sea salt and caramel. Honestly, you can’t go wrong. Before they close up for the colder months, make sure you and your family spend a simple summer evening enjoying delicious, affordable treats whilst staring off contemplatively into the adjoining peach orchard. Your experience will brim over with satisfaction that runs deeper than the appetite. Eat it up!

Great selection of fresh peaches, produce and some local canned goods like peach butters. The tomatoes here are huge, ripe and beautiful. I removed one star because I don’t care for the ice cream. It’s more of an icy style, and I personally prefer a more creamy style.

I’m not from SC, so this place was a treat! Fresh PEACHES! Picked right there all day long! Lots of friendly staff! Plenty to choose from! Jams, jellies, fruit, preserves, candy, ice cream, breads, etc! A little expensive but for fresh, clean, good food, the price is worth it! Bring the whole family here!

We lived in Mauldin, SC from 2000 to 2004. The neighbors would tell us about places to check out. We love to go pick-your-own produce. The neighbors gave us directions to Dillard’s Farm in Greer, SC. The harvest season at Dillard’s Farm, depending on that years weather, begins in June and goes to early August. The peaches are the best I have ever eaten. You can either pick-your-own, or they have peaches ready for sale. The folks there are friendly, proud of their produce, and happy to explain ways to use your peaches. After you put your peach haul in the truck, it’s time to treat yourself! Dillard’s has an Ice Cream Parlor right there. Fresh home-made ice cream. You can sit inside, or find a shade tree to savor the ice cream. You and your family will love this place.

My mom told me about this delicious place and we all packed up to go! We were served huge portions for the money. I mean, the«baby» size was like giant. We saw one girl get a large and it was like six inches tall I felt. Great atmosphere, loved the history on the walls, and the service was lightening fast! Plenty of spaces to sit.
