Hired Killers Pest Control

Do not even consider using this company. I have used companies throughout the years and have never dealt with such unprofessional and poor quality work as this company offers. They have been out three times so far and the problem is worse than when they started. The first person that came out missed many areas and when I asked about this she came up with an excuse that did not make sense. I requested through the office that she not come back. The next person they sent seemed to be a little better but still was not as thorough as what I’ve seen with other companies. They missed two appointments and had no excuse as to why. The office is very unorganized and cannot keep track of their appointments. This company advertises a lot and maybe that is what keeps them in business, but the Quality of work is poor. Someone said the business is rated highly somewhere, but that just does not represent the truth. Take a moment to look at the other reviews also and I think you will see where my opinions are reflected by those also.

My husband and I have been using Hired Killers for about a year now and have finally decided to switch companies due to their office staff. Every time they come they call less than 24 hours in advance to schedule their appointment (our old place made appointments a week in advance) and then when I have to reschedule due to my work schedule they show up anyway at their original time and are frustrated that we aren’t home! And then there’s always some issue with the payment. We have a credit card on file, but they can never find it or forget to charge it so then they send us overdue bills. It’s always a hassle and I’m tired of it!

I listen to 106.3 Talk in Greenville sc and Bob’s always promoting hired killers pest control. I did a little homework and found that they were a company voted best in Greenville and had a A+ by the Greenville BBB. I set the appointment, they arrived on time and proceeded to place rodent poison stations, spray the interior baseboards and place a granular product around the exterior. The tech didn’t have enough rodent poison stations and said so. The interior spray for bugs seemed thorough. The exterior was lacking because he was supposed to knock down the spiders before spraying the exterior. He neither knocked down the spiders nor sprayed but instead haphazardly tossed the granular insect poison. I had to call them back twice to about the spiders. They were (both tech and call center) friendly and responded when I requested they come back again. Although their customer service for getting a tech out is acceptable their follow through is poor. I just received a call for the first follow up appointment after the initial (should have been one but turned into three visits) appointment and was told they had me scheduled for a day that I wouldn’t be able to make. I also told the caller that I was concerned with the overall service and told them I may not want them to come back. She hung up! They have a great opportunity to provide great service but don’t seem to be able to get there or want to. During the call for third visit (part of the initial) I told the caller/​scheduler about these issues and told her I’d be glad to discuss this with the owner. The owner never called.

These guys did a great job on our house. It was very scary to see how many black widows we had around our house but its refreshing to see all of them dead on the ground

We have been using Hired Killers since we purchased our home in 2005. I have NEVER had trouble with bugs in my home, on the rare occasion I do see one, it is usually dead. They are thorough, they always ask if I have been having any problems. Their technicians are nice, sincere and on time. They will wait 30 minutes at your home for you, if you are not there when they arrive. It is very easy to schedule an appointment, or reschedule if you miss them. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs home pest control.
