Pizza Hut

Gave this Pizza Hut a 1 star because I couldn’t give it a 0. Went to the buffet for lunch today, it was absolutely pathetic. When I got there there were several almost empty pans of pizza, 2 hand tossed cheese with 2 – 3 pieces each, a pan with 3 slices of what appeared to be sausage and onion, 1 veggie pizza with about ½ and that was it. I got a couple wings, some pasta and a breadstick and sat down to wait on fresh pizza to be put out. They brought one out and it was a spinach pizza. Are you kidding me? No pepperoni pizza anywhere to be found. Everything hand tossed and getting colder. I grabbed a couple of pepperoni rolls and a piece of the cold cheese and returned to my table to keep an eye out. Took a drink of my Pepsi and it was mostly carbonated water. No server to be found. Still no other pizzas put out. Still no server so I walked up to the cash register. Stood for several minutes and a lady came out, looked at the buffet and asked in I’d been helped. As I was about to answer the server came up and asked how was everything. I told him and the lady that the buffet choice of pizza was terrible. No decent popular pizzas to be found. And my drink was practically carbonated water. She said, Well I can fix the Pepsi. I told her it was too late for me. She said there was plenty of pizza on the buffet and I said yeah a spinach pizza! Who eats a spinach pizza? She said that they have to go by a list of what to put out. While discussing with her the server said, $ 9.16! I said you charging me 9.16 for that and a glass carbonated water? She said you need to leave, they are plenty of people enjoying the buffet. I said really or are they to nice to say anything? There were 6 people other than me. I said I was going to let someone know about it and she laughed. I asked for her name, she said Deborah and she was the assistant manager. I asked who is the manager and she said she was. I said to you but you just told me you were the assistant manager, so who is the manager? She wouldn’t tell me! Should have went to Merrills Pizza.

Awful customer service. We tried placing an order over the phone and the worker kept talking to other staff and not even pretending to listen or take down the order correctly. Even when I called the second time to comfirm the order, she was still too distracted to care. She was argumentative when i tried to correct the order. We called the 3^rd time to cancel the order all together. Decided to just drive 17 minutes to the Pizza Hut in Taylors instead. Never ordering from the Greer location.

I’m not going to lie, the pizza is made pretty good here, but the lunch buffet sucks.
We go often because our boss buys, but the selection is five pizzas and you are lucky to get a few slices from one you like. The problem is that they load it up with specialty pizzas and only put out one regular pizza. They end up not getting eaten and people just sit around waiting for something decent. Annoying.
On the bright side, the pizza is fresh and the flavor good. This Pizza Hut is ok. At least the employees are friendly, but granny manager is one cranky witch. Thankfully the nice lady who makes the pizza is refreshingly nice and fun.
This place is fine with some customer service issues, that’s all.

Since this Pizza Hut was remodeled we have been there twice and will NEVER go back. The music playing plus conversations makes it very noise. The waitress must be on something because we had to ask for plates, napkins, our drinks and all she could say was «oh, I just forgot». The pizza was not hot when we got it and it looked as if it had been dropped and picked back up.
I suggest you VOID going to this Pizza Hut location at all cost.
Frozen pizza from you local grocery store is MUCH better.

Just avoid at all costs. The wait staff is just clueless. Why are you trying to sit at my table and have a conversation with me? Delivery is no better. I didn’t live that close to the restaurant, but never had a problem getting delivery, than one day it became hit or miss on weather or not I could get delivery. The last time I ordered from there I was having a super bowl party and ordered 12 pizzas, went to pick them up and had to listen to the «cooks» wonder out loud, how fat a person had to be to order 12 pizzas. I wish I were making that up. I tried to cancel the order but the manager told me bc it was a large order I couldn’t because it was to much food to waste. manager said she would talk to the staff. No apology, just a sigh followed by I will talk to them. Save yourself the trouble and just avoid this place

When they renovated, they should have spent more time training their staff. The service was terrible! And, the pizza we had was not very good… barely had any sauce or toppings. Like I said, should have spent more efforts in training their staff. wait staff and cook staff!
